Andy Blakely Actually I lived in PI for a few years since my dad is from there. I lived Leyte so I know all these creatures too well. Very scary! I was scared to death of seeing a white lady or wakwak/aswang. >.>
ReignBotHorror I usually don't believe in these kind of stuff, but when I was about 11 y.o. I woke up to a sound outside our bedroom window and it sounded like human voice but VERY deep and quite loud, it was saying (quite clearly) "wack-wack... wack-wack... wack-wack" and it sounded loud, then faded then loud again, like it was circling. I didn't imagine it because when it was gone after like 3 terrifying minutes, my sister and I sat bolt upright at the same time, she heard it too. We used to live in San Juan where there's a street called Wack-wack. I'm not kidding.

Most of the stories here, they are similar to the ones we have in Dominican Republic. I'm amazed that Filipino culture and Dominican culture have similar things 😍 I love it. 💕

What I know is that you have to put salt on the lower half and when daylight comes the upper half won't be able to attach to the lower part since there's salt. The sunlight will kill the manananggal if she does'nt return to her human form.
