I have the xp10 previouse version Yaris and i did both shock absorbers and coil springs my self with basic tools.I've never done it before but have seen it done many times in my work place. It is easy as that although i didn't use a ramp just a car jack and a scissor jack.Parts cost me £125 and saves on garage fees which would be easily over £110 in labour and the 20% VAT.Great video.

I have a pretty good idea that I got going to need a rear shock replaced at inspection. Now that I know how long it can take to do this repair, I'll be sure to see how much they charge me for labor on a 7-10 minute job.

Thanks. I can fix my own car's rear shock absorbers now. I do not need to go to the mechanic.
