Think ranch fairy did a vid a couple weeks ago about the drop in speed w heavier setups. They lose less speed percentage wise than light bolts. Say for example a 100 grain might be 400 at 20 yards and 360 at 60 yards. For a 40 fps loss whereas a 150 grain would start at 380 fps at 20, but only drop to 350 fps or something..only losing 30 fps. So less speed loss because of momentum. Makes sense.. Im looking up vids cause im tempted to go to 150s w my r26..not sure yet
Yeah I switched over my r26 to 150gr schwackers. The 23fps loss at muzzle, I think is warrented for the huge gain in cutting diameter and extra penetration.
@@StealthTRD I started with rage hypodermics, however did not like the locking ferrul design. I switched to schwackers years ago, since its blade deployment design is fail proof.
