So I actually left because I sustained a back injury that made it difficult for me to restrain animals and perform my basic job duties as a Vet Assistant. Plus I also really missed flying and decided it may be time for me to go back to it.

Keep applying. You have experience WHETHER it's With your own pet or your school or any internship or Externship. VCA animal Hospital always hiring and love to train also banfield .you may start off as a kennel tech or Receptionist or what you actually apply for. Confidence is KEY. Hey girl! So I started without any experience as well! I didn’t even go to school for it! Just like Daniel mentioned Banfield is really good about hiring with little to no experience! They mostly just wanna know that you’re invested in the field. Also, you can start at reception and cross train in the back! Good luck!

I just applied. I was taught on the job.
do you have to have covid vaccine to be a vet assistant?
It wasn’t a requirement for the company I worked for but I’d check with the specific office you’re applying for.
