They were $35 on Amazon on black Friday so I got a set to replace my Philips O'Neill "the construct" that I had been using with my 2015 version mixamp pro tr and ps4. The corsairs are much more comfy and if you can believe it after the test in the video, the mic is way better. I tuned out a lot of the breathing noise with the mixamp and also found an eq setting that works well. Overall, very happy with them :)
It’s pretty great. The only problem I keep running into is that I wear glasses and every time I move around the glasses I have friction with the ear cups and I get kind of a squeaking noise.

I can't say I'm very impressed with the mic. There's a lot of popping going on there... Also, the video omitted information regarding how they fit on the ears and maybe a visual demonstration of that, since that was one of the main things I wanted to info on.

I used these for 1 day and I hate em. Sometimes the mic is fine when I talk to my friends on Discord, but at random points the mic just decides not to detect any sound at all (I didn't even change the position of the mic) and I'd have to shout just for it to detect something, and I'd have to readjust the position of the mic to the point it picks up the sounds of my breath, otherwise it doesn't detect any sound at all. And sometimes the headset just disconnects on its own and I have to unplug and replug to get it working again. Discord sound effects (muting, deafening, connecting, etc.) are 2-3 seconds delayed if this headset is in use which is super annoying. Also, my iCUE software started bugging a lot since I started using the headset. I had to reinstall it 3 times. I'm going back to my old HyperX Cloud Revolver.
I agree the sound quality is great when it works it seems like no matter how much I fiddle with it the sound is always muffled on mic AND for my sound coming through to my ears

These headsets are really good but the mic catches a lot of air reduction and mines broke in less then 3 months, pain. These headsets are really comfortable and really have good audio.
The mic sounds bad, but I have a separate mic of my own so I will not use it instead. Is this good for FPS games though? I need bass so that footsteps can be heard properly.
at this point i really don't care about the sound quality or anything... the only thing that matters is whether it will even last a year or not,, i spend so much on these only to lose them in few months time

The sound is so much better of the HS50 is so much worth it I had those and then I bought the HS45 cus my HS50 were broken and they were sold out so I decided to buy this one and I mean isnt really bad, I just prefer the HS50

im using hyperx cloud stinger around 1year and now changing to corsair h45. in my opinion corsair h45 is better (comfort, detechable mic, sound and have included usb adapter). when i used hyperx cloud stinger, i need to buy seperate usb adapter to make the headset sound better.
My hs35's bit the dust, for some reason its cheaper for me to get the hs45's right now haha, it seems like the differences are very minimal. The mic on my hs35 pair was pretty bad, but I use an external mic so its not a huge deal. Cant wait for my new headset to come, my current ones are being held together by my tears and some duct tape...

yes, because the plastic connection (on which both side muffs hang) was weak & prone to breaking in HS50. HS45 has 7.1 surround sound dongle with it, while HS50 doesn't (though it is not a big issue for many).

Help... Does anyone has the same problem? My hs45 mic isn't working at all, when I tested it using discord it only register my display sound not my voice, and when I unplug and plug my mic in again I can hear my voice just for a second then it stopped working. (I'm using the 7.1 surround USB to connect my headphone to pc)

But I'm still finding a way to fix it cause I can't ship my headphone back to Corsair due to lockdown so I'll have to live with the headphone for a while. If any of you have a solution please tell me

Good quality sound for listening music and for game use spatial sound which is free on windows which give pretty good surround sound for gaming or if u have money u can buy Dolby surround sound app too... Overall I personally think hs50pro is definitely better in all fields
