Picked these up and i like them alot, really comfortable. Every other headset ive owned i coulent play for more then hour without taking them off bc the back sides of my ears would hurt.
@arendfieldx its good, the audio quality doesn't sound cheap at all. Very easy to hear footsteps in games, music is a little different i feel like the bass overwhelms vocals but that can be fixed with an audio mixer app for your phone. I give sound a 8/10, defenitly worth the money, im still using these haven't had any problems, yet lol

Just came across your channel looking for a quick review, gotta say from all the comments you made and the comments on the video, I feel very confident in my purchase. My last headset was one I never bought, rather a hand-me-down Razer Kraken. It had survived all of my high school years, and my friend gave it to me when I got my pc. It lasted very long for being as used as it was. Now I can move on from a mic boom that was breaking apart, as well as the ear cushion material that was falling off and getting into my hair - and I have short hair
That first hit the box edit was really really appreciated haha. I like how you brought the box on the table first so that I would be less expecting it.
This headset seems pretty nice, but it is really surprising that they wouldn’t add on a retractable/ removable mic. I personally don’t use on headset mics because I have a blue snowball that will end up sounding better. Overall though I think they are very nice, just surprising that it’s so recent and not super cheap, for them to get rid of that option.
I'm very happy to watch your review. I went to town for a pair of headphones but had not looked up any reviews. My cheap Oneodio headset stopped working so needed a new headset. After looking through them all and knowing I had a budget of $65 or lower. I bought the Corsair Void Elite Stereo for $49.98. @@NoUsernameFound. The one thing they do better than anything else is get loud. they are VERY loud, i find myself always turning them down because they were so loud it made me jump. Loudness is an A+++. I wouldn't really call them an audiophile headset the music while it does sound good it just isn't crystal clear like you would want an audiophile headset to be for music i would give it a B. It does very well as a gaming headset and as a movie headset, loud and the sound is average to good but not great. Hope this helps. Also you can change the sound up with an EQ with them so that might help music but since I'm not big into music i have not tried that. While I am happy with this headset, I can't help but feel like I could have got something better for the same price. They are worth the price but nothing to write home about.

They sound great but for smaller women, like me, the smallest size is still large. The cups kind of just hover over mine. But, they sound great otherwise.
My review.. 4.5/5 I ran 3 pairs of them. I busted one (sat on it), Another, tore the wire out, my fault. 3rd Still using. This isn't some space age headset, you are not going to contact aliens, it works, sounds good enough for the job. Mic, works, never had a complaint that they could never hear me or I was too loud.

How are these Headphones for using the Oculus Rift s. It's hard to find Headphones with a 2.5mm cable. Almost all headphones that I looked at have a 3.5mm cable. I need to get a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter. I also have to mention that most of the time I am standing up and walking around when playing VR games so I cant power it with a USB cable unless the USB port is for charging the battery for the headphones.

@@bilalamir4961 now idk about other platforms but on my xbox series x it's really loud like usually when I get a headphone with a volume scroller it's all the way up but this badboy made me turn it down to 70%.I will say this though the mic piece is a little bit to long.same could be said about the wire.for the mic when I want to drink or eat something I have to put it up and then after finishing put it down again.and for the wire as a guy who game on the couch whenever I move or try to get up i accidently disconnect it from the controller,both these issues are very irritating so you might consider that but for the build and sound quality it's top notch

I tried it on my second PC which is a Recycled one that i use for transport. Is there anything you changed in your software or did you have any update to do to make it work or it was "plug and play"? So I just bought this headset today and I just plugged it up and I can’t get any audio to come through and I don’t know why it’s saying it’s detecting it and the mic but I can’t hear anything at all
Personally, haven't owned the hyper x cloud 2 yet so we're not able to give a solid answer, however our experience with the void elite has been very solid due to its very breathable earpad, something I assume the hyper x cloud doesn't have. From the pictures I've seen, the earpads don't look very breathable and would be more prown to sweat. Maybe if we know a friend down the road who owns it we can do a review, sorry we don't have a super solid answer
Buyers Beware! The cable near the USB plug could be faulty. Causing constant disconnections. Best case scenario return them for a new headset. Worse case scenario bread tie the cord to which ever thin side of the USB plug makes the dc's stop.

When you buy this product, you get a 2-year warranty. After this time, the battery dies. Now the headphones take up 2 USB slots (one for the wireless receiver and the other for the cable). You lose.

Hmm I'm not sure, that may be an issue with yours because for us, it was just plug and play. Also the mic test is not edited so it should sound like ours.

I did bought a pair because this kind of reviews and the specs from Corsair website... and sound like shit... Bass suffer to be played, plain mids, only high freqs sound clear. I feel like I did pay a lot for "cool design" and nothing else.
Hmm, make sure to check to see if the mute button is pressed or not, it's sometimes hard to tell if it's muted or not. If that doesn't, try and see if the headset also doesn't work with your phone. After troubleshooting with other devices, we can narrow down which device is faulty here, the headset or your device :)

I personally prefer volume dials to volume rockers. It allows you to dial in the exact volume that you want, instead of in fixed increments.

Did you perhaps try the old cloud stinger wired with the red logo, not the new core ones. If you did, how does it compare to the void elite?

What about game Audio? Like I know the turtle beach headsets have voice chat control and a game sound control. How would you change that?

Usually the mic is plug and play so once you plug in the headset and wswitch the microphone to the headset microphone, you should be good to go.
