Marco Dane was then and is still now one of my all time favorite TV characters. Nobody else quite like him. Gerald Anthony was an exceptionally good actor. Loved him

Strasser stepped into the role in March 1979, first appearing Friday, April 13, 1979 and left in 1987, returning from February 1993 to February 2000. She reprised the role again in 2003, and remains on the series today."
@themirrorsofmymind and everyone thought that was so neat because Strasser's characters husband was one of Susan Lucci's character's husbands too. Though I don't know if Strasser and Lucci crossed paths much. Strasser was Christina from 77-79.(and she was the original Rachel on Another World)
@Abbyviki Edwina dropped all her pretenses during an interview on the Pat Ashley show and admitted she wasn't really from a good family, but an orphan, which endeared Marco to her. That's when Edwina started to turn over a new leaf and eventually everyone started to be her friend. Her friendship with Dorian was strained as a result of course..lol
this is one Viki/Niki storyline I NEVER understood,, PLEASE, could someone fill me in DID Niki Smith really come back or was someone impersonating her and if it was impersonation WHO WAS the culprit

The reason I ask is because I wondered if Robin had stepped into the role during the whole Marco Dane murder fracas or if Claire Malis was still playing her. So Strasser must've stepped into the role as the storyline was waring down. I know she had just exited "All My Children" as a character named Christina prior to Dorian. (pt. 1)

@Abbyviki Yep Clint and Edwina had a torrid affair when he worked at the Chronicle(He joined the rival paper because Viki refused to date him)

When did Robin Strasser take over as Dorian. I know it was 1979 but can somebody give me the month(it doesn't have to be the exact day)
@dereka79 Yep because Viki refused to date him til after the Ted Clayton/Tom Clarkson catastrophe was over.
But also Edwina and Clint had an affair around the time Viki and Clint were supposed to be an item
