That roxx is not a jeep anymore. I just got my three door 20 days back, I will never sell it for Thar roxx. Now Its a family car and a cheap copy of wrangler. The ruggedness of a jeep is only in 3 door. The interiors make you feel like you are driving some kind of big truck, not just a car. Thar roxx interior will never be able to provide you that feel.
5 Door 2wd top end is 24L, 4wd would be approx 28L. Mahindra's game is to never deliver the vfm variants and force the top end till the sales decline and then slowly push them. So at least until 1.5+ years, I would not suggest for a 5 door that too at approx 30L!
Never. I just got it 2 months back. And I knew the 5 door is coming. I always wanted the 3 door. For its ruggedness. The 5 door to be frank isn’t a thar anymore.
We bought 3-door RWD Petrol AT 2 months back for my wife. She wanted a true SUV with a proper automatic transmission - not as big as a Scorpio. But she was clear I don’t want a Pseudo SUV (so-called compact SUVs). And we were offered the delivery within a week. Extremely happy with the decision 🙂
hi kishore i got my thar 3 door top end model on dec21 2020 and i have been driving this since then i enjoy driving it and its superb experience but still i wish to upgrade because af some reasons like family use and features
If only Mahindra had left the Thar be true to its roots. Probably added some good features and left it to be the Hooligan it is. A 3 door Hooligan. I have a 3 door, I enjoy the ease of slipping into gaps, the sheer rugged nature of the thar so much. I drive about 65 kms a day. I enjoy the automatic thar Diesel AT HT, immensely. I am a barebones jeeper kind of a guy, and before buying the thar I had checked the safari and the Xuv the number of touch screen stuff, the gadgety feel is something I do not enjoy. Apple car play, a powerful AC and 4x4. I am set.
Mahindra already diluted what Thar stood for when the changed from the cRDE to the copy of Wrangler! Roxx is just a blown up version of that. The original rugged "jeep" look and feel is long lost. If you drive a cRDE, you will know what I mean.
@@johy2007 True. Crde was the thing. But no point cribbing or wishing for what’s long gone. At least 3 door is close. It’s been a very enjoyable ownership experience for me. I use the 4x4 on purpose taking detours daily. Crde somehow never fit my Maturity levels when it was on sale. So I don’t know what I missed

Understandable, but make sure you get a good price if you are giving off the old one.
