Guys. During the G-O Panoreserve, I keep saying "Panomatic Reserve" lol. I HATE MYSELF. It is the "PanoReserve". I cringe every time I say it! But I do hope this helps end those rumours that I am perfect and I never make mistakes. IDK who started that rumour..... ;)
The Langhe 1 is a dress watch. The GO is a thicc boy. I know it’s less expensive but just feels like you would never be happy if you wanted the Langhe one to begin with (and yeah I’ve handled it in person). Same idea with the Breitling… split second chronograph for cheap is great but that 15mm thickness is not. (There is a reason why these models cost less… but to each their own)
I’m a little disappointed Sinn isn’t anywhere on the list. I recently got a Sinn 356 and it’s amazing!! Definitely, the best automatic chronograph for under $3000 that’s also under 40mm. It’s a little on the thick side but honestly that hasn’t bothered me too much.
Love seeing Glasshutte Original being highlighted. Some beautiful watches mentioned. For me the Sinn 556 and the Grand Seiko sbgm221 offer " bang for buck" 😂.
Bahaha, TOO MUCH G-O LOVE! You know, not having Sinn or GS on here feels like a BIG SWNG AND A MISS here at Gringa HQ. We are really letting QC slip here ;)
Sinn 556a for me is just phenomenal. I know the price has increased to £1350 brand new but still unbelievable value I think for the quality of finishing you are getting. I recently bought one used like new for £875 and I’m in love! The bracelet is brilliant, great ETA movement and the dial is just so stunning. Those Arabic numerals with the white on black dial is perfect I think!
I am glad you included G-Shocks, despite what some watch snobs say, digital watches are proper watches. The SeaQ would be my favourite from all the watches there. Right now i'm wearing an Aocasdiy, Breitling Endurance Pro homage which cost £28.00, quartz, but in chrono mode it runs like a mechanical.
For a diver under $5k, you can't beat the Oris Aquis Calibre 400. More accuracy than a Tudor Pelagos. More power reserve than a Tudor Pelagos. More antimagnetism than a Tudor Pelagos. A warranty that is twice as long as the Tudor Pelagos'. Less expensive to service than a Tudor Pelagos, and you only need service it every 10 years. A sapphire caseback, so you can see the movement, which you can’t do on the Tudor Pelagos. A bracelet with a quick release mechanism, just like Britt loves, which the Tudor Pleagos also lacks. Plus, I just think the Oris Aquis is a nicer-looking watch.
GSHOCKS AND SEIKOS are ALWAYS ON THE LIST! Was gonna buy a RED casioak but then after looking at the NEW COLOR issues, I have changed my MIND! Those new colors are just too FUNKY TO IGNORE! Excellent video Britt. You’re spot on with these watches. Little gems each and every one of them 😎 For example, I own an Alpinist. And it’s amazing in how many situations it’s the perfect watch to wear, and at that price point.
Dear Britt, lovely honest reviews, and my puppies seem to enjoy listening to your restful pace and tone, great video and good you mentioned the Christopher Ward The Twelve, Bel Canto is fun.
Britt, don't normally post comments on TH-cam, but I really enjoy your videos and mostly agree with your opinions. You have recently cost me some money though. Like you, I am a huge GO fan. Saw your video on SeaQ and was already in the market for a new diver. Ended up getting the SeaQ's big brother. I prefer larger watches in general (been wearing a couple of Panerai for the last 15 years) and liked the date widow and better movement of the SeaQ Panorama Date. Found a used one in mint condition for under $8,000 U.S. and couldn't resist. BTW - since you seem to like German watches, how about reviewing a Damasko? First nice mechanical watch I ever bought. Have worn in a ton over the last 16+ years and the watch looks new because of the "ice hardened" case.
Honestly, two watch brands come to mind for BANG FOR BUCK are Sequent and Straum. Those two deliver some insanity for their asking prices. Also the designs are solid, completely original and the treatment of polishing on cases and bracelets (where appropriate) and strap combos are incredible.

I know what you mean. I bought a Tissot Chemin des Tourelles Chronograph in rose gold PVD, and despite owning an Omega, that Tissot is the only watch I own that has generated spontaneous compliments from strangers. ⌚️😎🍸
I just bought the Pano Reserve on Chrono 24. It should cross the pond by next week and I will be a happy Chappy. Why do people need the lunar complication? When would you use it? Watch fans are a mixed bunch for sure.
I learned to always buy on bracelet over strap. my hammy is on the nato and i was searching everywhere for a factory bracelet and could not find it. ended up opting for the bracelet from uncle straps. It made me love my hamilton all over again.
The Bel Canto is a complete breakthrough in innovation at their price point but I cancelled my order because CW has really poor customer experience. Delayed my order, did not provide any updates, continued sending me shipping updates leading up to my initial shipping date because they did not filter their email list, forgetting they delayed my order and not replying to every email I sent on asking for updates. And yet they can release special edition Bel Cantos for special people with no wait time, collaborating with others on special edition Bel Cantos also with no wait time. Extremely disappointing experience with them and I am sure I am not the only one. They forget their customers are the ones who made the Bel Canto popular.
I have been a huge CW fan in the past, but my time on this wait list for the Bel Canto has soured me to the brand for the same reasons. My initial delivery date for the Bel Canto was last July, a wait time of about seven months. It was then pushed back to December and pushed back again to.... January 2024. I am expecting an email at the end of this month either confirming my watch finally (at 14 months wait instead of the estimated 7), or giving yet another delay. In the time that I have been on the waiting list for this watch, CW have announced and released the Twelve (regular version), as well as announcing the 36mm version of the Twelve and the precious metal versions, and the Moonglow aventurine. On top of that, the 'bespoke' versions of the Bel Canto have had about four releases announced, including the 'Watches' version which was announced three months after my preorder and was delivered to customers last November.... And all this time, I have been getting about two or three emails every month from CW talking about everything that they are doing and how great they are. The only explanations about these delays are 'we got behind and we are sure it will be worth the wait' and 'the BC team is different from the other teams so all these other watches dont affect your preorder'. I like CW as a brand, and their watches (this BC will be my third CW watch), and I will keep my Bel Canto now I so close, but it certainly feels that as a company they were not prepared for the spike in business and popularity and a few things have suffered as a result. Its a real shame, especially because - contrary to usual CW practice - they are not just owning up to it and being honest.

Very unpopular opinion coming up....but....I think the Hamilton Khaki field mechanical is one of the most overrated watches of all time! I don't think the dial is attractive or interesting at all (completely subjective of course!) It only has 50M water resistance, which for a supposed tough go anywhere field watch is completely pathetic. It's not automatic, you have to constantly hand wind it. Hi Britt, Laine is a good call. I’d add Hanhart and Habring2. Not sure Breitling deserves a value mention when you could have a Zenith Chrono for less. Regards
Hey there Britt 🤩 I loved this video !!!! And oh my goodness, that Breitling Duograph…. I think I need that 😬😍 As for my personal “best for the price” it’s my Tudor BB Chrono S&G. It has the looks, some gold and a chronograph with a Breitling B01 movement for about 6k…. 😍 Cheers Britt, hope you and James will have a great weekend 🎉🍻
OH HAAAAY THERE EDWIN! OMG, that Duograph! I genuinely can't believe the price on it. I've tried it on a few times! It's just a weeee bit too large for me, but if you have a larger wrist, it's the best bang for buck watch on this list!

Woah… those GOCQ secondary prices are nuts…. Might have to hop on one of those now…
Some real BANG OR BUCK options there. Sweet.
Ahhh thank you so much!
Hi Britt, Laine is a good call. I’d add Hanhart and Habring2. Not sure Breitling deserves a value mention when you could have a Zenith Chrono for less. Regards
no grand seikos?
Fascinating list, thank you.
loved watching it. Subscribed!
I have never heard about nomos, but they looks good.
Happy Friday!!! Another great video😀
Hey there Britt 🤩
I loved this video !!!!
And oh my goodness, that Breitling Duograph…. I think I need that 😬😍
As for my personal “best for the price” it’s my Tudor BB Chrono S&G. It has the looks, some gold and a chronograph with a Breitling B01 movement for about 6k…. 😍
Cheers Britt, hope you and James will have a great weekend 🎉🍻
OH HAAAAY THERE EDWIN! OMG, that Duograph! I genuinely can't believe the price on it. I've tried it on a few times! It's just a weeee bit too large for me, but if you have a larger wrist, it's the best bang for buck watch on this list!
Gringaaaaaa Fridaaaaaaay 🎉
Let’s gooooooooo 😎🙌🏻
YASSSS! It’s that magical time of the week! Hope you’ve had a lovely week, F! I sadly have to work tomorrow! 😣 I hope you don’t have to!
@@BrittPearceWatches looks like it’s going to be a working Saturday for both of us 😢. At least we do what we love for work 😎.
Love the faster pace 👍
big up sekio everytime.....but that vacheron(all vacheron) are the business!..respect Britt..all great choices!
RIGHT?!?! I WILL add a VC to my collection one day! 😅💕
i can see you with that alice in wonderland looking one "americana" or something like that....equally even with your dainty wrists the 222 would look right and proper@@BrittPearceWatches
If you had started lower, the Casio AE1200 for under $20 offers a lot.
The GS 9F would like a word regarding the tile of Cadillac of Quartz!
Loved this video … thanks! ❤
Definitely go for the Hamilton khaki field. If only for the winding experience which is among the very best 👌
only thing i hate about breitling is the ETA movement. at that price point the really should be using manufacture movements
Another awesome video Britt (as per...) I hope you and Watch Papi get to go to Watches and Wonders in April? would love to see your content from there. P.s. One phrase to try not to say for next time - GADA (Go Anywhere, Do Anything) so so so overused :( lol
Ahhhh I really hope we can GOOOO! The only obstacle might be getting my U.K. Visa. -.- My spousal visa expired 2 weeks ago! So I’ve just had to reapply and I can’t leave the country until my decision comes through. 😣 so I’m a bit stuck at the moment! 😅 BUT if it comes through in time - I really really want to go!
Most of the Nomos and glashutte original range punches above its weight on price/quality, although i prefer the lunar to the reseve myself. I am a bit of a german watch fan boy though
Enjoyed the vid... thank you Britt.... keep it up!
Great video. Nice work
I'm hooked on the GO Seventies right now, or at least until next month when I fall for something else I can't afford.
Britt, you knocked it out of the park with this video. And your expressive vocabulary. Tippy Tippy top? We Latinos are known for being very expressive. You have some Latin in you?
Bahahaha! I do not! Hence my Instagram being “Watch gringa”! 😜 but I’ve ALWAYS gotten on well with the latinas at school growing up! Perhaps because we are all hyper expressive!
Yep😊
New subs here. I love your content. Keep it up
How is Tissot PRX or Gentleman not here
My brew metric is on its way now! I can't wait to have it!!!
NOOO WAY! Biggest congrats ever! One of the most FUN watches I’ve ever reviewed!
That Breitling will soon be mine 😊
For me Sinn watches. Any of their pilot or instrument watches.
9:24 That’s what she said. 😂😂😂.
But , in all seriousness, the g shock is the best “bang for the buck “ (Sorry , Britt 😂) if you just could have one watch. I actually broke one in the 80’s in a rappelling accident. Broke the watch , but surprisingly only sprained my wrist.
All good choices 👍
Great video! If only they made the "Casioak" for smaller wrists T_T
Some excellent choices, for me the Seiko would be the 5 GMT especially as they are now readily discounted. Glashutte Original offer so much so two of them in the list makes sense......although I'd go for the Panoluna in blue
You KNOW! I was really torn about the Seiko 5 GMT! One of my favourite Seiko watches!
Do it - get the Hammy. One or my personal favs!!! ❤
Ouuuu this push is all I needed! 😝
Good info for those interested in cheap beater watches.
Ahh thank you so much! :)
Omega over Tudor and if I wanted that I would buy a Rolex submariner or john mayer green bezel or zenith tac meter. Always a great job Britt.
How is your jaw and injuries been going after bike accident and recovery.
love the robot dance for the patreons😁
Thinking of buying a Tudor ranger
Thank you ❤❤
If you have £6k then surely a speedmaster is the perfect choice. The Glashutte is a nice watch, but the speedy is an icon.
Laine is so good! On the grail list.
