I know you make meals for large families, but showing me all these meals, I did them for two people at a time, and you are SO right, I do an all day cooking day on Thursdays cause kids are at college, and hubby is working. This means I have the house ALL TO MYSELF! But doing the cooking all day, and then shoving a freezer meal in the oven at 4Pm and cooked by 5PM, is the BEST IDEA I EVER HEARD! Thanks for your posts. I do have a lot of your style meals, but for smaller helpings. GENIUS! My daughter even got into this freezer meal stuff, and bought me some labels and a marker to date and label the meals. She loves it when she can just take one out and micro it.

I am early tonight Amy, and oh my goodness all I can think is WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER 😂so many delicious meals and look at you fully dressed, hair tied up face on at 5am in the morning when I read your kitchen clock....I love sweet and sour chicken and it’s also delicious when you can fry the chicken so it’s crispy and pour the sauce over it when cooked. Hope your family appreciate your commitment to the cooking. Enjoy the weekend. Kate 🥰🇦🇺

After doing these recipes my freezers are going to full to the max as I also did a lot of your baking……thank you for the recipes both today, your freezer breakfasts and your muffins. By the way your cutting board with the stainless insert is fabulous going to be looking for one of those❤️

Very good recipes, can't wait to try! My tip of the day... When putting your food in the freezer bags, turn the very top of the bag, where the zipped is, over, outward. This will keep it free of food, and will help it to stand up... When my Mom used to put stuff in the freezer, to help it stay flattish, she would put them on a cookie sheet. That helped to transfer it, and to freeze.

Great recipes, thank you Amy. I used to make freezer meals every month, my newest baby is 9 months old and the last time I made a lot of freezer meals was before I went to hospital to have him. I have been feeling a little defeated that I can't manage to make all the freezer meal, but you are so right. Different seasons make different things possible, I will get there again. Be blessed and I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Hi Amy! I love your videos and they have been so helpful, especially when I need to change things up in the kitchen! For the silicone reusable bags, I got a drying rack on Amazon (looks like a file sorter) where they can sit wide open and that sits on the top of my fridge. The warmth from the fridge top dries them completely in just a few hours.

Luuuv your videos! Can’t wait to try some of your freezer meals ♥️😊 Was really surprised to see you throw your cans in the rubbish (trash) bag! In Oz 🇦🇺 we rinse them out and put in the recycling bin (along with rinsed glass jars, cardboard etc) for fortnightly (bi-weekly) kerbside recycling pickup. In my area we also save the rinsed can lids to pop into an aluminium (aluminum) coffee can with metal lid to put out when full (to prevent recycling plant workers from injury or equipment damage by stray lids).

I love it all. I've never had any meal made with coconut cream- but it sounds like something I would love. And of course I love that you make your own Cream of Mushroom and Cream of Chicken- so great. Prep all the meats ahead- that requires a bit of thinking on portions, but what a great way to assemble and go. I bet you could do 100 meals if you prep your proteins, chop your veggies and make your soups the day before. This is so helpful. Thank you.

Oh my gooooodnessssss! I'm so excited you're trying my recipe!! I really hope you all like it. The rice should take away a bit of the sting if it's too spicy. Or you could dilute it with a bit more milk or coconut cream. We're long time fans of yours, and even got to know Jamerril and the Wads thanks to you.
Bless you and your family, and now I'm anxious to see if you like our package! My mother in law helped me put it together, so I hope it'll be useful.

When mine were little I made 2or 3 of what we had for supper and froze the others for other nights. So in a month of doing that or 2 I had several months of meals prepped! Easy peasy. If I baked I made extra and froze as well. If it was cookies I froze the dough because if I did the cooked it would be eaten too fast! I would portion it a dozen to a bag to bake!

My mom and grandma would cook whole month of September to make freezer meals. I grow up in state of New York. Where bad weather can hit without a notes. They would start on September and end in October with freezer meals. I do freezer meals I do one for now and one for later. I get all my meats for my family meals at Costco for all my freezing vegetables and meats and my fail pans and freezer bags. How I get my husband doing one now and one for later freezer meals.

Chana Masala is made from chick peas and masala…. It’s a vegetarian Indian dish……normally it’s eaten with either Bhatura bread or chapati. We never eat it with rice…. Normally my husband will eat it with onions, hot peppers and lime on the side. His family are from north India and his family owns a Indian restaurant…. So we eat a lot of Indian food lol.

Can your dairy free girls eat the homemade 24 hour yogurt? It's lactose free by the time it's finished. It's basically the same as your recipe except you cook it in your pressure cooker 24 hours and then drain it a little. I use it in place of sour cream sometimes too. I was taught to set the timer 24 1/2 hours to give it half an hour to come to temp. It's a way to assist with gut health. A gallon of whole milk with one cup of full fat plain yogurt.

I like that you did all chicken meals. I'm taking pics and sharing with my daughter. Amy, I just want to tell you that my heart aches for some of you mama's who are being ridiculed and torn apart by some mean and heartless people on a web site. Just be you and stay true.

I know you have a large family, but I wondered typically how many servings do you prep? Do your littles eat a full serving?

Amy your doing great work. If people are still asking "why bother just cook it on the day." I say o well. They need to watch some more videos instead of just one because you've already answered this. It's unreal. Even if your way is 10x harder or 10x easier, it's YOUR WAY for YOUR FAMILY. Idk I'm sorry if this was over the line.

Are you and Lauren going to prepare some freezer meals on a smaller scale for them to have after the baby is born. I know that Jennifer from a Country Life and her daughter did this before both of her children were born. Made it easier for her. Love the recipes!!
