I really wanted this to be better. Here's to hoping for the future. I'd love to have a more engaging experience doing pattern work, but my pilot2atc feels like it works out a bit better on the whole: For those interested, I have pattern practice vids on my channel with it where I've bookmarked interactions in the description if you're curious. I'm really looking forward to somethign different, but its got to be better than this. BTC worries me with their taking on traffic because, if it screws that up, it will take down the ATC functionality with it.
Thank you for making this. This software needs more work which is unfortunate for its cost. One thing I noticed right off the bat which has tripped me up in the past on pilot edge was forgetting to tell the ground controller I had the current ATIS. In PE the controller may prompt you in case you forget. Here the controller indicated they wanted you to verify you had the ATIS when you were ready to taxi and it didn’t happen. Nothing else was said of it. Are you trying this out longer term or just for a month or two?
Yeah delay is longer than you would expect. If you are in a busy area like class B then it works as you might have to wait for a response. They’ve said they are trying to reduce the wait time by half. We shall see.
Agree, the product is cool and shows how ATC can work with AI. Just needs more development and for the cost to come down. Looking forward to the other product as well.
Now its 16 usd if you choose 1 year. 195 usd is a fair price. I used the demo and flew 2 times and i have to say, i was very impressed. I am going to pay for 1 year and look how it will develop after 1 year. I amso believe, under 15 usd it will not be possible, but i believe 15 usd month is nothing
Yeah is a bit high on the cost. But that is normally the way with early technology. Once the AI costs come down they will be able to pass that along to the user.
@@JohnGrayUK- They will never reduce the price. When AI costs for them come down, they'll simply make more profit. Businesses never reduce prices, no matter what Brian may say. You wait and see. The $30 per month cost will not come down. I guarantee it.
Damn John, you broke my hip on that landing and then made me brown my trousers on the crosswind pushover 😂

(and thanks for the vid! much appreciated)
How'd you get your pilot to yell "Clear Prop"?

Hi.
Interesting. Can this be used without a microphone... i.e. having a copilot and auto response lije Beyond ATC ?
It has too much delay but the idea is fantastic
Yeah I agree, too much delay would quickly become frustrating I feel

Been playing with it past few days and gonna pass on this.. wait for the other anticipated atc product.. this one is cool but not 30 bucks cool…

They get this down to like $10 a month I'd consider but this is way to high.

Can be used in Europe?
Just USA for the moment, but they are working on adding Europe and then other parts of the world.
what!? $29.95 a month for a "paid beta" that only supports GA VFR?

GA VFR in the US
