TOBS Grapefruit is one of my favorites. The soft cream makes it easy to face lather. Nice shave. Most reviews of the OneBlade razors are favorable. I'm mostly a DE shaver. I have a couple of SEs that use half-DE blades. While I don't care for safety razors that use proprietary blades, I might be tempted to try a OneBlade that used half-DE blades.

Hey Ken. I'm glad your skin is getting better after the surgery. It looks good. TOBS was my gateway into the artisan shaving world. I love their grapefruit scent.
I don't know how or why, but my OneBlade razor works with unmodified GEM blades. If they're reading this, they work great, and a lot of people I've talked to would love to use them in theirs.

Hey Ken! So happy that you are on the mend! As for those Feather blades for the OneBlade razor, I am lucky to get two good shaves out of them. My beard is just too coarse for that particular edge. I even tried honing and stropping one. To no avail, no good result. I am hoping that the new blades will be a better edge and lower pricing. The razor is a unique design and reasonably priced but to have proprietary blades is a negative. Thanks for the info about these new blades that will be coming out! Thanks as always for your videos! Great shaving video as always despite the One blade i know when i´ve used up my blades i will throw it in the ben blades are expensive and the razor is good BUT not that good so out it goes wont get any updated version unless they make it capable of using half DE blades then maybe i will consider getting that version. stay safe, cheers Peter

If they made it compatible with snapped DE blades I would get one. That way I don't want it, I like to be able to grab the blades from the local shops and not relie in proprietary stuff.
