I use a silk pillow case but laying on my locks cause them to flatten . Your locks look amazing. I saw your video when you stopped retwisteing .

I like when my dreads all lay flat in the morning. I just shake it out and I’m good to go . And I spray it with water +oil mix

I have hair on the finer side so I don’t palm roll but i retwist and I’m just reaching 7mo but noticed only my buds are flat, the rest of the loc isn’t. Do you think my buds once mature, stay flat?
Great question, they will probably round out a bit but and thicken but not flatten out all the way. In between flat and cylindrical. The same thing happened to some of mine but its not that noticeable

Most likely it’s not dandruff, but it being dried gel. So be aware of that before the investment of remedies.
It would depend on what's causing the dandruff
