Thank you to Watercraft Journal and Unlimited for this incredible opportunity! For anyone wondering, I am 6’2” tall and have no issues standing while riding with this handlebar setup. I like having the key in the glovebox like the previous generation. It’s amazing how well the Ultra 310s and 160s are supported by the aftermarket- with Unlimited leading the charge!

Excellent job and very impressive camera work and it’s only my opinion but I prefer the original handle bars as it it looks so much more polished, it’s a very impressive ski and looks well put together. Please keep up the great work and videos love both channels.

The stock handlebars are a huge improvement from the previous gen for sure. I had no issue with the stock ones- I did find myself adjusting them a lot- these ones bring you “back to basics” and give you one less thing to fiddle with while riding. Some will love the fixed position, others will not.

I didn’t expect to like them more than stock, but I really do!! You made install look so easy!

Great camerawork! All the anodized aluminum looks amazing too. 2 questions. First, is the stock geometry retained, or is this handlebar any different, and how so if it is? Also, do you know an approximate weight reduction compared to stock?

So this handlebar is wider than stock, and has a more aggressive taper. I did not weigh the parts so I can’t give you a direct figure, but I would say with all of the Unlimited components we achieved an estimated 5-8 lb weight reduction.

I think I will change to this setup but probably try to use the factory cover over the bars. I don't like the play in the factory tilt setup. You really need to cut those 2 bolts shorter that hold the watertight phone compartment in place the next time you have that area apart. Makes removing that so much easier. I also trimmed one of the upper corners some. Still requires some effort but you don't have to loosen and pry the upper deck from the lower deck. You mentioned someone losing a key while riding? That would suck and I don't like that Kawi made the fast key black now vs green. It still floats but green is easier to see. I attached an orange Chums keychain to my key. Also had a green key flashed to work on my Ultra 160 lxs. Keeping original black as a spare. I didn't think I would like the key in the handlebar setup but so far I like it. Not sure I want to lose the space in the glovebox the key would consume. It is a neat install though.

Excellent job good work, but I would never consider swapping to one of these and putting the immobilizer in my Side compartment!? It’s great they sponsor your channel though, so I get it👍🏻

Why not? We’ve seen people lose their keys a bunch since Kawi moved them to the bars.

@@watercraftjournal TBH, doesn’t look that appealing to go through all that work, plus cutting holes in the factory plastic like that, Also in my opinion makes the watercraft lose some value if It were ever to be sold, After that u might as well put on the visor now lol There are the factory holes already predetermined marks in the plastic which I’m sure you’re definitely already kno..
You’re doing an awesome job with the channel, and enjoying all the content just not a big fan of this at all, to each his own lol

Scott, definitely mods like this are not for everyone. If you want a one-of-a-kind custom ski- Unlimited has you covered with all the parts. Some guys prefer to run stock, and there’s nothing wrong with that at all. Also, just to note- every single mod we’ve done is fully reversible- with the exception of the hole cut out inside the glove box. These aren’t the major engine mods that have become popular these days.

@@JDsWaterWorld Totally about mods, I have quite a few on mine, And I’m sure Unlimited has lots of great stuff, just this mod Was not my cup of tea.
