This video was supposed to be 19 minutes long 🙂 Anyway, some notes and corrections below:- *Notes* - anna zhang in the comments pointed out the resemblance between the Wedjat Eye and the Matrix of Prescience. A very cool observation if you take into consideration what Rukkhadevata did with the Akasha System as well. - I feel like I shouldn’t have to say this, but the “Good Fortune Slip” and the 3 5-Stars are obviously a coincidence. Don’t try to pull just because you got a “Good Fortune” Slip from Gendou Ringo. - There are more types of Jade besides the two mentioned in the video, however, Nephrite and Jadeite are the most important ones for the sake of simplicity. Other examples include Omphacite, Kosmochlor, and Carbonate Jade. Worth noting that Jadeite is the most expensive by far. *Corrections* - I misspelled Foresee in the Thumbnail, I fixed it now. - At 19:22 I misspoke and said 'interference' instead of 'inference' in Bayesian inference.
Two things I remembered: not only Nabu Malikata predicted her own death and made preparations that ended with the creation of the Amrita Pool during the Cataclysm, but the other time we saw fortune telling being dead on was the little girl in Sumeru during one of the dream samsaras - sure it was played as a gag about the community shipping Traveler with everybody, but the timing is suspect looking back.

Nope, I was trying to "demonstrate" that the Narukami Shrine Maidens are scammers compared to Barbeloth and Citlali but I suppose they aren't after all.
I wonder if Columbina is the Harbingers' "fortune teller" and "guide" given her angelic motifs. I also wonder if she's half angel half human, allowing her to maintain her form despite the curse laid upon the angels (we already know from books anyway that Nabu wasn't the only Angel who kept her form). @DragonMJE When I read your comment, I remembered my old observation: Buer and Focalors are the only ones of the 6 Archons (which are currently shown in the game) who have white hair. Neuvillette has the same hair color. This kind of explains that the three of them are parts of the primordial elements (or whatever this is). I also wanted to include Nabu Malikata, but I remembered that she has pink hair, so no. About your point regarding the six wayobs being angels, I think it’s a bit more complicated than just 7 angels ( including the lord of the night ) governing the night kingdom, if that were the case I think the night kingdom would’ve been stronger and more resistant to the corruption of the abyss despite those angels having lost most of their powers because it seems like angel survivors are at least at the same approximate power level as archons, so having 7 of them in one place would probably have stronger effects. ( side note: it does seem like the lord of the night is weaker than I make it sound like, but I think it’s very likely she was prolonging her existence by sleeping this whole time because the functions of the night kingdom depend on her power…perhaps this is foreshadowing related to the sleeping heavenly principles ?? ) Personally I think that the 6 wayobs are collective consciousnesses of degraded seelies, mainly because the lord of the night said “everyone [ referring to seelies ] rallied around me and offered their power to humanity to reconstruct the leylines” she said this after paimon asked her why would she sacrifice her very existence for the sake of humanity, implying that seelies “offering their power” also came at the cost of their existence, so it seems logical to me that if the damaged leylines were used to create the night kingdom, then the seelies which are devolved/degraded angels may have been used to create the wayobs. TLDR: I think wayobs are seelie hiveminds unrelated but 1:39 fellow Arab spotted or…???
@@Nationalist166 I mean you don’t HAVE to be an Arab to pronounce them correctly, you just need to be able to pronounce specific rare sounds that are found in Arabic and very few other languages to achieve the same result
I don't know why so many people make the same mistake. I've seen it way too many times since version 5.1 came out. 1. Not all Angels are equal in power, just like how not all Demon Gods or Dragons are equal in power. 2. Angels are not around the same level as Archons. Yohualtecuhtin needed Xbalanque's help to sustain the Night Kingdom, while Nabu Malikata was objectively weaker than Amun given the fact that he ruled Sumeru for all intents and purposes and was offered a Gnosis by Celestia. 3. I don't see how having 7 Angels would make the Night Kingdom stronger or weaker. We already saw multiple Angels around Yohualtecuhtin. Remember, every Seelie was an Angel. So it isn't surprising that 6 of them became the anchors of the 6 Wayobs like Sybilla was to Phobos.
@@ShirouE when I used the word angel, I was referring to the likes of the lord of the night and nabu malikata, i.e. those who retained some of their sentience and did not completely devolve into seelies It’s true that not all angels or even archons are of the same power levels, of course some are stronger or weaker than others, and yeah its misleading to compare them to archon’s but I kinda did it for simplicity’s sake bc I didn’t want to make my comment too long, however when I classified angels as typically strong beings, it was because of their unique abilities and NOT raw power, consider for example how the lord of the night was able to reconstruct the leylines, that is quite the powerful ability even if she herself is weak, or take for example how nabu malikata created the entire race of the jinn whose fragmented souls are capable of powering deshret’s complex machinery, imagine what they can do at their full potential, hope this makes my point a bit clearer. Notice how you likened sybilla as an anchor for phobos and the wayobs being the same for the night kingdom, I’ll use that to explain my reasoning a bit here Think of the lord of the night as the stronger/main anchor ( because she is an angel who retained sentience ) and the wayobs as six more anchors spread out through the night kindgom ( if I am even remotely correct about wayobs being seelie hiveminds then maybe we can consider them as slightly weaker anchors ( not a very good comparison but…statue of seven vs teleport waypoints ?? ) ) Now if those six anchors were NOT seelie hiveminds but instead six angels who retained sentience, we’d have 7 anchors at the approximate same level of strength ( again with the not great comparison but…kinda like 7 statues of seven instead of 1 statue and a few waypoints ?? ) I hope my weird examples didn’t complicate things too much, I’d be happy to expand on and clarify my point of view if needed :)

@@iris-28 True ig, but still it should be pretty obvious
@@ShirouE when I used the word angel, I was referring to the likes of the lord of the night and nabu malikata, i.e. those who retained some of their sentience and did not completely devolve into seelies
It’s true that not all angels or even archons are of the same power levels, of course some are stronger or weaker than others, and yeah its misleading to compare them to archon’s but I kinda did it for simplicity’s sake bc I didn’t want to make my comment too long, however when I classified angels as typically strong beings, it was because of their unique abilities and NOT raw power, consider for example how the lord of the night was able to reconstruct the leylines, that is quite the powerful ability even if she herself is weak, or take for example how nabu malikata created the entire race of the jinn whose fragmented souls are capable of powering deshret’s complex machinery, imagine what they can do at their full potential, hope this makes my point a bit clearer.
Notice how you likened sybilla as an anchor for phobos and the wayobs being the same for the night kingdom, I’ll use that to explain my reasoning a bit here
Think of the lord of the night as the stronger/main anchor ( because she is an angel who retained sentience ) and the wayobs as six more anchors spread out through the night kindgom ( if I am even remotely correct about wayobs being seelie hiveminds then maybe we can consider them as slightly weaker anchors ( not a very good comparison but…statue of seven vs teleport waypoints ?? ) )
Now if those six anchors were NOT seelie hiveminds but instead six angels who retained sentience, we’d have 7 anchors at the approximate same level of strength ( again with the not great comparison but…kinda like 7 statues of seven instead of 1 statue and a few waypoints ?? )
I hope my weird examples didn’t complicate things too much, I’d be happy to expand on and clarify my point of view if needed :)
