i wanted to go try last Month but they charge Dinner Price for Solo Occupant
So instead of $20 Lunch, it's Dinner Price $25
i like eating alone at AYCE or Buffets cuz non of my friends can eat and keep up with me and i hate it when they finish eating and watch me eat
it's NOT bad considering many AYCE or Buffets won't accept Solo Occupant
For $25, i dono "if" i want to be in a very TIGHT SQUEEZE of a Seating Space especially the Condiment section is very crowded
it's not as bad as fighting someone in a Telephone Booth but seating is pretty tight
    ✌✌

This is great info! They did say that they accept solo diners but didn't mention any price differences etc. Pinning this in case other solo diners are interested 😀

I was going to go here tomorrow but you changed my mind. Thanks for saving me some frustration. I would lose some street cred if I took my friends here.

😂 although if you went for dinner, the hot pot service is solid and a great price! Hopefully your street cred is intact (or moving up)

Damnnnnn flying out to LA just for this would be WILD! That being said with a $5 coupon that price does look pretty attractive. 😂Favorite dim sum item would be the turnip cake.

This is still at least $20 cheaper than the conventional dim sum for two.

Three of us went there for dim sum breakfast (weekend $18.95 per person). The service was a complete joke. The restaurant was completely full and there was only one staff pushing the sim sum cart around. By the time it got to us, there were three dishes left in the cart. The wait for the next round was ridiculous the entire time. The dim sum was sub par and the dishes were small. This place is a joke; the food is a joke. The service is a complete joke. The AYCE is a complete gimmick.

I know that you intended to give your honest review of the restaurant. But I think it was kinda rude and disrespect to do it on the restaurant itself. You might have the financial ability and privileged to eat at a better places, but there are people who could not afford to do so and this “cheap buffet” might be their only way to enjoy “all you can enjoy” foods at a decent price. You can take the videos and do your reviews later.
If i was the owner of the restaurant and I saw a customers like you, I might return your money and ask you to leave asap. Rather than seeing you keep on commenting and giving negative feedbacks on almost everything.

Fair point 100% and we appreciate the perspective. One thing we failed to mention is that we really enjoyed the dinner hot pot experience at this very same spot where we had almost nothing but great things to say about it.

I for one appreciate your research and candid opinions on the restaurant and the food. Even if that is all I could afford, I wanna know if the food is made from scratch or mass produced. This gives me an idea of whether I wanna spend my $16 there or elsewhere. I've seen all of your videos and I think you two do a great job and service to the restaurants and community of SGV. I live near SGV and I can now confidently go into these restaurants where before I was intimidated by the language barrier. Thank you both and keep your videos coming. Stay safe.
