Tried this restaurant today based on your recommendation and we had the worst experience ever. Entire order not served after sitting there for an hour, terrible service, messed up entering order into system. We were so upset we left the restaurant and didn’t even finish our meal since rest of food never came. They’re such a disaster. I don’t know how they will survive in this competition of 626 dim sum restaurants.

I live not too far from this place so will give it a try. Been to DTF twice and didn't think it was super special especially for the line. The thing that DTF have over this place and other restaurants in SG is that they are located at a big mall. If they are busy and you want to get some asian meal then you wait. Where Good Alley is at, impatient folks like myself if they get too crowded would go to some place nearby like Golden Delight 2, Shin Shen Gumi, etc. that is near it.

Its actually $25 dollars now. Very good ayce dim sum. Yang chow fried rice. Lots of assortment. Come hungry.

For sure you need steam rice with those Cajun shrimp.

I went last week for lunch. They wanted to charge me for the price of dinner cus i was only 1 person. 25 for lunch, and 29 for dinner. I left.

The dim sum is low quality and they don't roll the cart out often. About 15 min intervals and they run out if dim sum fast, and you're stuck eating the cheap buffet foods like fried rice and egg rolls. Its basically a bait and switch.

Not sure why but my local Grocery was selling bottles of the LKK sauce for 69 cents... canadian currency. I stocked up. I notice lots of people reviewing Huy Fong alternatives complain that many of said alternatives aren't as spicy, but I honestly don't remember Huy Fong being that spicy itself. I think people were just climatized to having it all the time and are comparing how spicy new sauces seem compared to when they started putting their Huy Fong sauce on everything for the first time. I could be wrong though.
