I used to go to Kang Kang a lot when my folks didn't want to cook, and previously Shau May in MPK before they closed for years...I wish there was one everywhere I went. And def, either speaking Canto or Mandarin helps when you order!

We just went last week. The food was not good. Probably worse than dim sum takeout places. Worse yet, the dishes did not seem clean and the floor was definitely dirty. I don't know why anyone thinks the food is good. I will never go back there.

Tough question! Can't really compare so if you're willing to do takeout style at Hui Tou Xiang or wait for a table at Mama Lu's, you're gonna be a winner either way with delicious dumplings 😃 (Mama Lu's might get a very close win on this one though)

Don't care about white people reviews of Chinese restaurants, but this place is approved by my picky Shanghainese friends. Check out Mr Dragon in Rosemead and PP Pop in MPk for beef noodle soup.

This restaurant chain is NOT a competitor to Panda Express. Misleading video title. The overall price point, the types of food items and the dining experience/environment makes TigaWok a fast casual/niche restaurant.

I only get 2 items at Panda Express: chow mein and veggies in large size. Their bowls and plates are overpriced, and their 'small' a la carte entree is ridiculously miniscule for $8. Their chow mein may be oily but I love its wok-fried crispy noodle and cabbage -- Most other Chinese fast food joints use soft lo mein noodle which is not the same. Also, never order XLB at dim sum or fast food places. It's never any good.
