I have a 2022 KX450 and it's an amazing bike i immediately installed a pro circuit slip on, changed the grips to the ODI lock on grips, installed some ARC black unbreakable levers, installed custom graphics kit and put a Renthal twin wall bars on it and i'm set!!
I luv my 22, very comfy ergos. Wish it had a little more on top end of range but rides so good. Agree exhaust is a bazooka and stock grips are lie sandpaper, but amazing for the price point. Green looks mean too
I recently got a FMF Q4 slip-on, I didnt want it too loud thats why i went with the quiet muffler. It sounds similar to stock with a deeper tone but I can tell it makes more power. The airflow is crazy on it
I have had overheating on my 21 450 but it is mainly from riding spots like Glamis when hot and on trails like Malcom smith trail. That being said, I added a Boysen super cooler and use engine ice after these two times and I have not had an over heating issue since. I also use a temp gauge rad cap. KX makes a solid bike and i have no complaints. The hydro clutch is so awesome too.
Just bought my husband one for his birthday!!
I just bought one myself. Amazing bike. I’m loving it

Get the full exhaust. Saves a bunch of weight. Just wish the build quality was better
What oil do you guys use? I have Maxima Pro Plus 4 stroke full synthetic. Is there anything better? Or is maxima sufficient?
Motul 300v
I just bought a 2023. Any suggestions on what aftermarket exhaust I should go with? Either pro circuit or FMF I’m thinking.
you probably already went with one of these but, Big Gun makes an AMAZING sounding pipe.

Have a 23 and great bike plenty power for a novice and can be built better with aftermarket parts.
Didn't you say something about an over heating issue in another test? How can it be an excellent bike if it's over heating?

Any bike will over heat if youre SLOW
Add a radiator fan if you are worried about over heating or if youre taking it in the woods or something

@@hunterhill1013 Go sit in the corner and hush.
Going to get a 23 this weekend. $7450 OTD with $2500 rebates.....Sure, why not.
I sure like my green machines. The stock hand grips are disgusting and have to go, but other than that, they are just great.
Lets go 🤘🤘
I hate that muffler
