Mispronunciations aside, Namor embodies the qualities that made Marvel superheroes the best: as Stan Lee once said, 'They're super beings with super problems." They have to face many of the same problems that we normal humans do (fear, depression, uncertainty, moral ambiguity, relationship problems, vulnerabilities, limitations, etc.) in addition to fighting off threats to the Earth and its inhabitants. IOW, they're relatable. To paraphrase the Bard, uneasy is the head that wears the crown of Atlantis.
Look at the opening picture of Namor. A mutant titan that can go toe to toe with the Hulk, Heracles, or Thor. That's what the MCU should have been aiming to have him look like. A formidable, alien looking demigod. Instead we got a short tubby Mexican bloke beaten by a little girl and a sun lamp. With enough jewellery to make him fit in at a Brazilian street carnival. They had to do it bcause Aquaman already out first, they dont want people confused on which one is which since 95% of the people in this earth dont read Marvel and DC comic books. Example : Some people know Dart Vader is from Star Trek, and LOTS of my friends say Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman is from Marvel, LoL.

Namor being a hybrid doesn't make him a mutant, that basically just being biracial, the ankle wings are his mutation. I wish Marvel had settled the Copyright issues over Namor because that travesty in Black Panther.
