The hardest part to wrap my head around is organizing the packages I am already scattered brain it’s very overwhelming thinking I have to organize them myself and getting it done in a certain amount of time
My DSP doesn’t guarantee the 10 hours a day so that’s a minus. I’ve been there for a month and 2 weeks and so far it’s been chill. I get the same exact route for 3 days and a small mix on the fourth day so it’s an easy job and I finish early
I just started working as a Amazon driver and I’m trying so hard not to quit. I was doing OK until I started delivering to people that live in the freaking woods…Very difficult maneuvering the van in those situations.
I’ve been driving for Amazon out of Kernersville NC, there are times where I usually ran out into the city and the country. The whole year that I’ve ran I’ve come to see a lot of things throughout my year as of delivering packages. Times I can run from 120-270 packages, thank you for sharing this. Wyatt!
I wanna get with the best Amazon DD and just run routes and see who’s faster , i can do over 180+ in 4-5 hours , without running , just push off the toe and have the camera ready to take the picture before you get to the door !
Hi Geneva! Thank you so much for the confidence. This video came just in time. I'm getting ready to start my first shift on Saturday. When I took the driver training course, a wasp flew into the van and all I could think about was..."Please don't sting me!" Lol. How do you load your vans? Do you use LIFO or do you do your own thing?
Hi your welcome oh no girl I’m afraid of all bugs that’s scary for me I’m glad you didn’t get stung I load boxes on one side an bags on other and underneath the shelves what’s LIFO
@@Ohthatsgenevaaa In training, they teach you LIFO. Last In First Out. I was wondering if you had your own way of loading your van as opposed to the video
Oh yessss depending on the station yes your bags should be in order when I first started my station was very organized but now they do not put them in order so I go in my itinerary an check which ones are first an last

Shoot I had to take a 2 day testing at our orientation and take a driving test in the Marada vans. But the gig is cool the only thing I don't like is our rabbits be cracked from the previous drivers dropping em and the GPS be acting up sometimes
I started on Saturday. The only thing that was annoying so far was being given a ton of apartments to deliver to and the stuff not being in order. For example, I had a big complex to do and the areas are numbered 1-10. So I noticed it would have me delivery packages in area 1, 2, 3...in order....and so on. When i got all the way to area 10 I noticed it had me go back to area 1 to drop off another package. Why does this happen?? Even if you say let me look through my itinerary and you see if I have any other area 1 packages that I can pull right now so they are all together.....you have to look for that bag number and color and look through the entire bag to find that item to put with the bag you are doing now for area 1. Any advice?
Yes when i first started this happened to me all the time I would say In the morning hopefully u have enough time start organizing inside ur van or pull over in a gas station look threw all ur bags an extras an put them in order by location area an addresses as best as u can but sometimes I know it’s the stations they don’t always put everything in order an it makes it difficult for the drivers smh 🤦🏾♀️
