See my problem is when you went into change adapter options, all I got is the Ethernet one no wireless adapter or anything.

Same my guess is it's a hardware problem..
if your wifi isn't there, it's a problem with your network adapter (wireless LAN).
i dont have any wifi on the card settings

Did not work for me, until I decided to click on the "Delete the driver software", as oppossed to the video's instruction. Many thanks for your help.
It didn't worked. My computer is showing all other wifi network but not showing my home wifi. I also tried to change the wifi name but not working
try this also, open CMD run as administrator , enter following commands one by one,
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns

I bought a wireless wifi USB from target. Problem solved. My built in WiFi card was fried.

What worked for me. Opened device manager. Then uninstalled my Intel wireless network adapter and deleted it's drivers. Then rebooted the computer to allow Windows to install it's own drivers. My Arris G6 2.4g and 5g connections are now visible for connection on my 7 year old Dell laptop.
Same here. It also works if you click on the "Delete the driver software" box that appears in this video.

Doesn’t do anything, I uninstalled the driver as you show, restart laptop and the driver is still there already installed same as before.
All networks show up except mine on laptop (but works for other devices).
Anyone have any ideas ?

No I’m 90% sure the wireless network interface card has failed. Either that, or need to reformat pc with a new image entirely which I didn’t wanna fuss with , because I have the option to use Ethernet just is a pain but making it work instead of Wi-Fi.

Unfortunately no. The wifi works fine for all other wifi networks I use it on, it’s ONLY the new expensive wifi router that doesn’t show up. I’m guessing perhaps the firmware is too new for my laptop to detect it. The halfass workaround I found is to create a hotspot with the wifi off of my phone and the laptop can connect to my phone wifi hotspot lol

it doesn't fix my problem it didn't even showing "wifi" on adapter options.
There wasnt a wi fi connection like file thing onlu ethernet

@@configureustrippyterps8079 I created a new profile to login and that allowed me to connect to wifi. When I eventually logged into my normal user it was fixed as well. Hope this helps!
