And those are the three words I can sing along. OK,english isn't my native one. But I've heard Americans,Brits not knowing what is sung. And I am a fan! Bass, Drumms and Guitars, I love it all.Even the voice sounds somewhat good. Archspire is just fine by me. So it's Canada again. I experieced RUSH, my first 20years with musically interest. But since they became somewhat commercial..... A couple of years ago I found Archspire. There is nothing commercial in their music🥰 But there is a hype about them and I am confused. Is this a influencer thing? I mean look a the guys doing a first time react. Do they even know how metal is spelled? Those are guys that metal heads don't even talk to
I'm so happy you guys finally got into these guys. They're my favorite band, they're the kings of Tech Death atm. If you really like this style, the old kings were Necrophagist. Their song Stabwound is a good one to start at.
This is one of favorite Archspire songs and I could never describe why I loved that intro so much, but you guys perfectly described it. It’s like starting a song in the middle
I love the band but only had the idea now to play the ultra fast vocal parts on 0.25 Speed and it's fucking scary, he is promouncing every word, it's like a hidden demonic message even though it's hidden in plain sight.
P.S. I'm super glad you called the lyrics "bars". The singer, with his INSANE, rapid fire style, has always given credit to rappers like Tech N9ne, and Busta Rhymes, for inspiring him. P.S.S. He mentions them in that order
Guys, I'm so glad that you did this reaction video to arch spire. I myself am pretty late to the arch spire game. My favorite song is "golden mouth of ruin". Absolutely badass. Like everything else from Archspire. Pure tech-death. I would love to see more reactions to arch spire songs. These guys deserve more attention! Take care! 🤘
Great reaction! As far as tech death recommendations from the vein that spawned bands like Archspire, I think the band most of their techniques track back to is Necrophagist (who broke up into Obscura, with some Necrophagist/Obscura veterans founding bands like Blotted Science, Alkaloid, and Obsidious). Obscura, Alkaloid, and Obsidious also feature some non-screamed vocals, which adds another dimension to the mix, as well. Song recommendations: Necrophagist - Ignominious & Pale (2004) Obscura - Ethereal Skies (2018) Alkaloid - Carbon Phrases (2015) (I'd recommend "Rise of the Cephalopods"...but it's 20min long...) Obsidious - Iconic (2021)
Oli, the singer, is a big fan of Tech N9ne. You should try Tech N9ne's songs, it's really good. If I remember, he make albums since 22 years and one album per year^^ You could try So Dope or Bad Juju for example.
@@ThunderRooster You have lot's of people who sing with Tech N9ne as guest on albums. Corey Taylor from Slipknot, the singer of System of a Down, the singer of Korn. You can find different kind of music on his albums.
Nice! I get exhausted by how fast he growls 😅. If you wanna hear some older tech death you should check out: Psycroptic - Lacertine Forest /The vocals on this one are straight up weird and amazing Cryptopsy - Phobophile /The song that got me into tech death. Just pure onslaught. Cryptopsy - Open Face Surgery / This song at around 3:44 has a 29 sec long scream. Vocalist Lord Worm is fantastic :D
Most of the songs on the album (Bleed the Future) have them. In particular, Drain of Incarnation and Reverie on the Onyx open with soft parts. A.U.M. has a really awesome soft part. Personally, Drain of Incarnation has become my fav track on the record with time, since it is so melodic. A.U.M. is the 400 BPM closer and has a little of everything. Drone Corpse Aviator has a little of everything, too.
You should check out their video for Golden mouth of ruin, also from their new album. And you will see them play which is very satisfying :) Great reaction!
🤘🖤🔥🤘🖤🔥🤘🖤🔥🤘🖤🔥 Dean Lamb and team are total beast within the genre a course there's Lorna Shore Slaughter to Prevail etc etc but these guys are a whole different level of playing...
Hey guys, Dean Lamb (guitarists of Archspire) also have a TH-cam channel. Amazing guitarists,n fun as hell. Next new Archspire songs to react : - Golden mouth of ruined - Drone corpse aviator Stay tech🔥
Great reaction boys! Check out Perturbator. A synth band performed by ex black/deathmetalmusicians. Se their show from Poland rock and the song "Tainted Empire" starts at 59 minutes
On the instrumental side, I love this. But the singing? Man I don't understand a single word here. And I understand some other heavy bands pretty well...definitely not my cup of tea Awesome reaction though :D
Have you had any experience with saboton? I just discovered them last year or so. Absolutely top notch music and videos. Bismarck or to hell and back. All there songs about different parts of war or people involved in the wars. Great reaction guys
Not yet, but I did hear about them. We were going to do the Christmas truce the week of Christmas. But Paul got covid and we haven’t made any reactions since the beginning of December. We are finally recording again this week.
When you look up lyrics to Archspire you get a book summary
Correct lol
Ah the old adage "don't judge a band by it's lyrics"
Its like sparknotes for existential horror
It’s like reading a horror story lol
Love these guys. Drone corpse aviator is fantastic
Tomorrow!
I agree

Awesome! you guys went straight into the tech death with no lube.
Had to bend em over the barrel and show them the 50 states lol
😂
Archspire are so talented it blows my mind. When the vocalist crams 30 words in a three second part, it sort of sounds silly but still pretty cool.
I think the words you were searching for are *badass as hell*
@@lightningmonky7674 Well said. There's def some badassery going on there.

Hi guys, I'm glad you liked archspire! I suggest Cytotoxin with their Song Dominus, its a german tech death Band.
Sweet! Added to the list, thank you

Hell yeah great reaction again!
One of the other archspire songs I suggested with lyrics would also be involuntarily doppelganger
I am happy to see that even native speakers struggle to understand the lyrics… :D
But the tempo is so impressing… and hitting the beat is so hard….
Right?!
Crazy good sums it up. Archspire's amazing transitioning during a track is pure genius. 🤟🔥

Welcome to the Archspire family :D enjoy your stay. Please react to more

If you slow the video down to the slowest possible speed, he says every word. It's INSANE.
Imagine if these guys reacted to one of their fast songs
😳
"Drone corpse Aviator" next One.

Well, Extrabeats could be difficult to understand even in some rap songs, so of course in death metal it would be even more difficult
with this band, even with the lyrics on the screen you wont be able to read as fast as he goes
