    I’ve tried this recipe. But since I didn’t have red wine, i used cooking wine instead. It’s still amazing. I also added mozzarella cheese inside and it was divine!!

      But all the alcohol contents of red wine evaporates instantly while cooking... still not halal? Pity, because the wine not only adds flavpr but also tenderises meat...

    Really great dish! I've made it for my family 3 times, my 2yr old loves it!
    After seeing hamburg steaks in manga so much I had to try and I'm so glad it was this recipe.
    Note: I get 5 patties with 1lb each of pork and chuck.

    I remember the first time I ever ate a Hamburg steak and it was absolutely delicious.
    It was December and I went on vacation in Hokkaido and I remember the exact order, a Hamburg steak with one big bowl of rice and a watermelon soda

    i made this just now, sooooo deliciousss. i didnt have a few ingredients tho so i made it with out onion but i put onion powder for the flavor, and i didnt habe the wine and i forgot the mustard in rhe sauce and i only had ground beef no pork but it still turned out super delicious. thank you!

      Hi there, just cut the green onions into sections and slice then lengthwise very thinly, place in the bowl of iced water for minutes, the green onion will curl up. Then dry with paper towel. 😊

      @@hanagarden200 Yep it was pretty alright with grape juice. I also tried Worcester sauce and to me, that's even better so would definitely recommend that as well.

      Hello there, that is grated daikon radish.
      As the onion, 2/3 should be fried until brown, and 1/3 onion is raw, so we have two flavors of onions. 😊

      Hello,那個裝紅酒的小杯子是法國 Duralex 的小尺寸,是強化玻璃,我們小時候這種杯型有流行過一次,後來就少見,前幾年在日本的50元雜貨商店巧遇就趕緊買幾個回家懷念一下,國外很多CAFE會用這種杯子來裝熱拿鐵,露X莎的澳洲小拿鐵好像就是用它們家的杯子來裝,網路上有看到有店家半打半打的賣,可以搜尋看看^^

      Hello Abigail, it can make two BIG patties, one is 100g.
      For me, if it serves with rice or mashed potatoes or bun, and with side dish like green salad, that is too much, an half patty is enough. 😊
