Just a little note that actually has nothing to do with dentistry- try practicing looking directly into the camera lenses when taking videos, it helps with immersion on both your & our end👌🏿

In other countries you go straight to dentist uni after High school with high score diploma and a difficult entry test. 5 years later you graduate as a doctor. Maybe because the government isbpaying for the education so there is no point in adding 3 more years.
So much information in five minutes, love it! If you want to apply to multiple schools, do you need ALL the prerequisites of those schools? Do the prerequisites vary from school to school? Will the dental school not accept you if you don't have those courses? Thanks!
Correct, each school has their own pre-requisites. Most classes will be similar like biology, organic chem, chem, some basic math probably. But some schools will require more specialized sciences, humanities, writing, upper level math etc. So before you apply, you need to have planned to take them all!
If you are still in college while applying (common to apply summer before senior year), as long as the classes are planned on your transcript that is fine! You don’t need to have taken all of them by the time you apply. You just need to complete them all before you’d start at their dental school.
Im so frustrated. Im not interested in dental hygiene but it sounds like a good option since it doesn’t cost a lotta money but I REALLY REALLY would love to be a dentist :( is it okay if i get an associate if science for dental hygiene but then switch to take bachelors for dental school instead of dental hygiene? I hope that makes sense
I have three dental hygienists in my class to become dentists! They did their bachelors in RDH and then applied to dental school like the rest of us with other bachelors degrees.
