@@taofledermaus When I was in Army armor basic training in '79 they told us "sabot" is the French word for shoe, pronounced sa-boo (also where we get sabotage from because people threw their shoes into machines as a form of protest). @@robertmidcalf2420 Also sometimes people read things having never heard it pronounced, and a word like sabot I feel has no particular indication that it's not necessarily an English word, which can lead to it being pronounced phonetically

The 'Bunny Hop' was amusing. Another great slug from Evan, he is a good supporter of Taofledermaus. Thanks Shane and Jeff 👍 Nice weather you have, here in West Wales we are in our wettest summer since last year, still that keeps Wales beautiful and green.

I really like the editing style in this on top of everything but that subtle humor like the piano jazz music when the doll flipped off the gell block really cracks me up for some reason. Such an oddball combination of things happening at the same time
I almost never hear people talking about penetration vs transferred energy but glad I saw it in your comments. This is a concept that evades most people when they debate "the best caliber" or various discussions about what a gun provides vs what is needed or desired.
Normally you either get one or the other, at least with our tests. The Gatekeeper, one of the best commercial slugs IMHO, dumped 100% energy in the block but didn't throw it very far.
Another well executed test and great video documentation. I think you have a winning team with this one...good experimental slug design, an accurate shotgun operator, and skilled videographer. Nice job, again.
I love you guys! Slug Ballistics intrigue me. Because of the mass close range power! Thank you guys! California is probably the most beautiful state I've ever been in. Just wish politicians would take care of their people. Keep posting will be watching

Thanks for another great video Jeff. It would be interesting to see slugs like this shot with and without the blank .27 cal "booster" to see what difference it makes.
