Only years ago it would cost millions to CGI some of the scenes that are in this, especially with no real humans involved on camera. I bet someone could create an entire Avatar sequel in this.
By next year youre probably gonna start seeing massive amount of clips in shows and movies being fully or partially ai generated
It means cheap filmmaking, even poor countries will be able to make Hollywood level action movies

Runway looks a bit better currently but some of the ones out of Luma look pretty damn good. Really shitty control though and no real way to preview before generating so it is a bit of a hit and miss. More of an experimentation tool if you want to throw some $$ at it. Fun for a test though.

I'm using midjourney and luma ai. I can't make them look so well,maybe 1/10 videos. Can you explain your workflow to achieve such amazing results ?
Ai video sucks. As a professional video creator its nearly useless unless for low level stuff...
It's not perfect, but the fact that it can do even this is INSANE. And this is the worst it will ever be again.
The only issue I see is that it may be hard for the AI to fully fulfill the directors dreams. Like the director may have specific colors, shots, actions in mind that the AI could approximate but not get exactly. It may be hard to even describe what you want.
Either way I think AI will greatly enhance and allow more creative freedom to those who don't have huge budgets.
I have no clue how to prompt anything meaningful out of it. 😂 Everything I got with what usually works in Image AI resulted in limbs of people giving birth or just explode or haunted nightmare material of people getting consumed by melting into the bodies of others. Its cursed trauma fuel. 😂😂
Prompting helps big time. Movement, expressions and action. I’ve been prompting for a year now so I have a good idea how to wield the AI beast
@@Afraid2Sleep yes. But prompting usually working with image AI like stable Diffusion DallE etc. seems not to work with this AI at all. 😅
Maybe the good results are heavily cherrypicked. Don't know, but I will keep an eye on that.
@@samthesomniator In this edit i didnt generate anything past 2 generations. I always usually do image to video bc I was to direct the look of it and no leave it up to AI :)

AI will never "replace" traditional movies like many fear but I see AI as a new artistic media like traditional animation, cgi animation, stop motion... Etc

no it's trash. 90% of the time produces garbage, some slow mo. its super expensive and is also not consistent. and trash 3 to 4 second videos is not enough for a basic scene. 10 seconds is minimum. if you extend the scene there are a lot of issues and jumps. runway gen 3 alpha and sora are way better

It makes nice videos, but the censor ship on image to video is TRASH. I tried to use a picture of a woman in a ONE PIECE BATHING SUIT walking down the beach and it rejected it. I guess you have to have everyone wearing Jedi robes or something. Sad!

Its american software. 😅 Its fine with blood and gore and deadly violence. But impossible to get anything slightly sexualized. A female nipple is strictly censored but brain leaving a skull because of shotgun fired just fine. 😃 I will never understand that part of their culture from an european perspective. In french movies they often Just show casual real sex of the characters 😂

I've been experimenting with luma image to video on some music videos. Check them out! So far I've found it great for camera moves, but hard to direct any specific character movement. So I've leant into it's weird dreamy qualities.

Nice eye. Good to see that is still important and needed. I can only hope they get a better control method. Hopefully they can think about users uploading control videos, or keyframe videos, to drive the action and camera moves. Maybe keyframe images with lengths of time inputs + control prompts.
What was your prompt structure? Could you give me an example if the prompts you used? I could never get people or scenes to look or turn out like this, please help!!!!

@@shadrackkiban4716 They are a team leveraging software like midjourney into fooling you into paying for a subscription. At that point you’re just paying an animator. When openAI releases Sora. I guarantee you they will start using it to sell you what is free.
