What a hell of a coincidence. been binge watching TNG last 3 days. just finished watching episode "true Q" googled John De Lancie and youtubed the name and brought me here. 2 hours after he created this video. Q works in mysterious ways.

What is so great about all of these new programs with the actors and actresses who were a part of the franchise, is that they give us a chance to see them exactly as we would want to see them. Enjoying a dinner, and each other's company, and inviting us in to take a place at the table and enjoy ourselves. Not everything Star Trek, but maybe the day's events, what they think of the events in the world, and relaxing. Nice Job and keep it up.
TH-cam just keeps slipping this into my suggested viewing. ..And I am not disappointed. Kinda wish for a full blown Cooking with Q series at this point.
I've always wanted to meet them. There were so many scenes that left huge impressions on me growing up and no matter the moment, there was something beautiful that you would hang onto. Q was funny and mesmerizing, Doctor Shmullus lack of bedside manner but moments of pure humanity, and Janeway making the hard decisions but being so relatable and human at times, that and love of coffee.
This was a wholesome video to watch waking up at work.
Youre the man, john de lancie! I continue to watch and think about your performances and your lines on TNG 30 years later. Fantastic Shakespearean stuff. you stole every scene on one of the greatest shows ever, and are permanently part of modern pop culture mythology.
Picardo and mulgrew also delivered great performances, but Q is everyone's guilty pleasure. See you out there

I am one of 3.1k the algorithm deemed worthy? Not too long before Picard series was announced, I met John twice while working late night stocking at a grocer. Neither he nor me verbally acknowledged I recognized him, but I suspect he knew it from my deer in headlights look. It was late at night and I was nursing a hangover both times, and it was very early morning in my sleep schedule so it felt euphoric and hallucinogenic. I asked if there was anything I could help him with more than once because he lingered and I didnt know what to do. I didn't want to make him uncomfortable, so I didnt tell him it was an honor. I couldnt help but inwardly freak out. I wish I could have told him it was one of the coolest things meeting him.
So can’t Q simply think a pizza into existence ? 🤣😂

I've been feeling the same all my life and the last Presidential term has tried me greatly.
I too was in one of my customer's restaurant when I glanced over and saw a hundred dollar bill leaning up against the shoe of a woman purchasing seafood.
I told her she dropped something.
After she left the owner was a little PO'd , he asked " How did you know it was hers, I might have dropped it ?". I replied " well, I knew It wasn't mine."
I've been fighting for truth with MAGA for years in these comment sections, and have seen many videographers make excellent productions , but nothing has come close to the words you spoke that night, in showing the reason and fundamental importance of speaking it.
I grew up with Star Trek. Spock was my mentor and life guide.

I'm about to lose my mind with the news and crazy life changes the past year. I'm stressed out and need a break. What can I look up on TH-cam, I wondered. John de Lancie was fresh in my mind after watching some Stargate SG1. Let's look him up. This is what I find, and I'm thrilled. No elaborate production, makeup or editing needed.
