I should have been a farmer instead of a heavy equipment owner. I’m a bit of a workaholic, so this would be a great setup for me! Show up early, get a solid workout in, shower, go to work and at the end of the day watch a movie. Man you guys are doing it right! I’m envious! I also am very into history and the hard people that our ancestors were. My family logged and built roads here in northwest Montana. Somehow we didn’t end up with a shop that great. Haha thanks for sharing
This has to be one of the cleanest shop tour videos I have ever seen. I love the attention to detail he put into the building, but the best part for me was when he included your mom in the thought of the building.
The metal panels from the bathroom were made in Granite City, Illinois at Granite City Steel and later US steel. My grandfather worked there for over a decade and I think it's so awesome that you kept them!
When I picture a "Family Farm" nowadays... I don't picture a shop like this. More like a 40'x60' pole shed that was built in the 80's, with sliding wood framed doors, galvanized siding and a dirt floor. Thanks for the tour! Now I'm jealous.
What fun to tour Haugen Farms. Very impressive. I visited your farm years ago with my daughter Christie Swanbeck & daughter-in-law Nanci Cain, and their kids. We might have been with my aunt Marian & uncle Jeff. We might have come home with a couple rocks from your farm. Will share with my family. Thank you, Evonne Cain
Love the shop tour and was blown away by the full gym. Explains why I haven't noticed any of you huffin' and panting in videos. Thinking i need to work with y'all when I retire in a few years just for the gym benefits. LOL
Cool to see Granite City IL Steel all the way up there in Minnie-Sota. That was from US Steel in Granite City IL…Made in America Steel. Beautiful Building…Well thought out!
Just found your channel, subed, an absolutely beautiful shop, if your build it, better build it right, an yall did, huge, well thought out, history from 1910 ,thats impressive, those old timers were horses them selves, no person today could hang with them, but from that to now is impressive, thanks for sharing 💪🤙👌👍🇺🇲✊ Allegheny county MD, god bless
Just found your channel. I'm a Haugen, too, so your name really caught my eye! You have a very neat and orderly operation. Look forward to seeing more of it. BTW my son's in-laws are from Roseau.
Just found your channel and watched every video. How come I did not find it before today? I subbed and will share channel. PLEASE keep filming. How amazing! Good work!😊
A Place you wont leave. I love it. That is realy a place where everyone can be proud to work. Your Family deserve such a nice Place. And it Shows That everyone works the right direction . Thx for sharing. My weekly Blockbuster was perfect , i Need a popcorn machine for Sumday ☺️ Greetings from Germany 😊
Thats a fabulous building. I have two questions... did it cost more than a million dollars to build? Im guessing around that. And who is going to clean it and keep the dust wiped down 😂...great tour
That’s such a well thought out shop, being able to have everything set up they way you guys wanted to me is really cool:) I hope the harvest went well for you guys and can’t wait to see more next week
I Agree one of the coolest Shops , i wanna give a shout out are you related to Grace Haugen, i think all of her kids were Paul , Jean , Carol ----i n Norcross.
Great video. Loved the family history. And that picture, just goes to show you how hard the old timers had to work. How many people today could spend 8-10 hours behind a horse and plow?
What a beautiful setup. One thing I've seen on another Farm channel is a Pit in the Shop which seems really convenient. Did you think about that? That Workout Room is amazing. That Theater is Crazy.
@@haugenfamilyfarms Agree - Every time I see a shop with a pit in the floor I imagine myself falling in (and I would fall in) and breaking my head open - or worse, an employee.
The whole operation seems very squared away from the people to equipment to the buildings and facilities..definitely an old money feel..folks like y’all always seem to make great decisions generationally..y’all seem humble which people appreciate but I don’t think anyone would judge for bein proud of your family and operation..at least I wouldn’t..thanks for sharin
just found your channel subscribed and need to watch more very nice shop!!! very well organized and looked after kinda wish my little shop was attached to my house
One of the coolest shops I’ve ever seen. The attention to detail is off the charts. Very cool.

Fantastic shop. Ideas that I would not thought of. Your dad has a very calm and gentle demeanor about him.

It reminds me of the Larsons Farm Channel. You have a Great Shop there.
Extremely impressed. 👍🏻 Thanks for the tour.

So true!

Top Notch!!! Like everything else you all do 👍👍

Thanks for Share, absolutely amazing. Would you be able to do a house tour?
Wow! Very impressive, nice work. You could do a full gym tour video alone. Invite Coop from garage gym reviews.

We aren’t quite done with harvest yet. We have been waiting for the weather to straighten out so we can start again.
I keep hearing there’s no money in farming these days…?
Definitely one of the cleanest shop’s I’ve seen ! This video should be a Training Film for all Farmers! 😅
Takes a long time and a few generations to get to this stage.
Strongbarns was a division of the Granite City Steel Company, out of Granite City Illinois. Just across the Mississippi River from St Louis Mo.
Pretty nice
Wow what a awesome shop!! Thanks for the tour! We are only 2 hour West of you in Southern Manitoba, Canada!
How neat. Hello neighbor.
@@haugenfamilyfarms Nello Neighbour! What an amazing shop you Guys have!! The best farm shop I have ever seen!
All about the looks
very nice shop, you keep it very clean
I Agree one of the coolest Shops , i wanna give a shout out are you related to Grace Haugen, i think all of her kids were Paul , Jean , Carol ----i n Norcross.
No relation there. Not sure who that would be.
Wow that is a really awesome shop!! Thanks for showing! I’m kindve new to the channel so could you possibly do a equipment tour? Thank you!!
For sure. It’s on the list.
Ahh yes, just like the good old days …. World class gym and movie theater! How did the good old boys survive…..😂
Very nice
Hello everyone from Australia 🇦🇺 😊winner here stef were is your husband 😊great blog s😊
Very nice to get to know your family and channel. I am new here and now less confused.
Why do you have a house? 😂 I’d live in that quite happily.
Amazing shop. #shopgoals
What a fantastic place to work from I'm jealous
Great video. Loved the family history. And that picture, just goes to show you how hard the old timers had to work. How many people today could spend 8-10 hours behind a horse and plow?
There is no way anyone in our time could do the work those men once did. Very humbling.
@@haugenfamilyfarms I agree.
Definitely wouldn't need the Gym.
What a beautiful setup. One thing I've seen on another Farm channel is a Pit in the Shop which seems really convenient. Did you think about that? That Workout Room is amazing. That Theater is Crazy.
A pit was thought of, but the dangers/accidents that could happen ruled it out.
@@haugenfamilyfarms Agree - Every time I see a shop with a pit in the floor I imagine myself falling in (and I would fall in) and breaking my head open - or worse, an employee.
That is absolutely impressive!!! Well done!!
Lots of good hockey players from that neck of the woods - Roseau and Warroad. Any hockey players in the family?
The AED is very smart.
What are the things about the shop that you would’ve changed and what your glad you splurged on.
Maybe do a part 2 and talk about that. 🤔
What brand of building? Could you do a tour of living quarters?
Beautiful shop.. I'm hoping to do something similar in the next few years but not with an attached house..
What brand building is that?
Love the shop. I farm and have a similar size shop. Was curious where you got your clock above the walk in door and cabinets right as you walk in?
Cabinets from Home Depot. Clock is from Amazon.
Thank you. 🙏
What do you watch in the theater? MN Millenial Farmer?😁
It is very easy to see that someone put much thought into the shop and layout. Also, great gym set up...WELL DONE! And thank you for sharing...
Thank you very much!
Peterbilt and international tractor how could ya go wrong and a nice shop to boot
Can you do videos on some of the specialized tools you use to make it easier to service and repair your equipment?
Yes. We could do a video on this.
just found your channel subscribed and need to watch more very nice shop!!! very well organized and looked after kinda wish my little shop was attached to my house
Thank you for subscribing and welcome. 🙂
I have that shop on farm sim 😂😂
Wow! Love that gym! Good to see that you have a place to chill after the long farm day. How many acres do you farm?
What are all those trophies on the shelf in the gym
Would love to hear more about is snowmobile racing! Do you guys go to eagle river?
Yes we will be. New TH-cam channel for the racing will be up very soon.
Did you get ppp?
I would be impressed if you didnt.
Very nice shop, I noticed a lot of trophy’s in the gym, was your dad a competitive body builder?
Very nice shop !! What temperature do you folks keep it in the winter ?
