thank you! the desert island synth, it is and probably always will be, from this day forth, the Prophet. truly ::thee:: behemoth, after all. it's so raw, gargantuan and lush. something so iconic about its limitations that also feel so freeing. so what i am ultimately saying, one must have BOTH. :)
@@hvegel I do have a question. I own a virus TI2 and need to buy an analog. I'm going to buy both of these synths. Unfortunately they will be 8 months apart with my financing. Which one would you recommend to be the first one to own out of the two?
@@masonjahncke7844 I suppose it depends on the tones you're after, it's like get a hollow body or a telecaster, you know? For me, I wouldn't think twice, and get Prophet 5 first, and what a joy it will be when OB-6 (maybe the best modern Oberheim instrument out there!) arrives.

Wow what effects have you got the Prophet going through?
here, I believe both the Chroma Console and Blackhole Reverb are parallel processing a signal from Prophet 5. nothing external on OB-6.

5 for the time being, understand in the next month or so i pray to get the next 5 voices! a must for Pads.
