Every kid dreams about the future, kids back then may have wanted to see that future they saw in Back To The Future 2, with the hoverboards and self-lacing shoes in the year 2015, but for a Power Rangers fan, our future is in 2025 with the Power Rangers S.P.D., that included holograms, time-traveling, and many teams of Power Rangers, with superpowers and aliens alike. However, as the show has grown throughout the years, we don’t actually see that happening. Is there a reason for that? Would an apocalypse have to have happened for a future like this to exist like in Power Rangers RPM? Let’s talk about it.

I wouldnt mind it being focused on the C squad for IRL 2025 year's season given the B squad cast woulda aged a lot since. Call it like "SPD Emergency" instead of SPD kinda like that. They may have to rechoreograph Kruger vs Grumm from a side view to keep continuity or rather the C squad ep 1 could be the day after Grumm got turned into a talking card
I do see where you’re coming from with the theory but the only thing that debunks the theory is that in the team up between Dino Thunder and SPD, they mention how the Dino rangers made impacts on their lives especially with Ethan’s tech being used in the SPD equipment
only way is split timeline. normal timeline was spd but something happened. to create a new timeline with same past but different futures. maybe the dino thunder teamups did cause the time change

They could've either lied to the Dino Thunder rangers or after the defeat of Venjix they could've made contact with the main universe to make people be aware of new celebrities and gathered tech.
I always thought of SPD being the early version of Time Force. That at some point in the future as thier morphing technology progressed. They would change thier goal to protect time.
And to really mess with some heads, consider the idea of SPD's Earth branch being at least partially set up by the Silver Guardians.

I cant rly see it happening, beast morphers and ninja steel made crystal clear that rpm is another universe, and bridge said that ethan from dino thunder became a software developer at spd, and as we all know ethan is in the main universe
But no one else has confirmed Ethan's future/career since then including himself in grid connection so is that liable

In Beast Morphers they had multiple gens of morphers including the rpm morphers which lead to evox. But my thought is what if BM is the future of the coinless tomeline?
I feel like Lighspeed Rescue(what was left of it) or the Silver Guardians became part of SPD(the Earth based SPD) and then eventually evolved into TimeForce

The rollcall probably would’ve went something like this: ranger operator series red, ranger operator series blue, ranger operator series yellow, ranger operator series green, ranger operator series black, Ranger operator series gold, ranger operator series silver. Fighting to destroy Venjix, Power Rangers RPM! Or something like that.
I think this is true also because of their similar designs.

I remember seeing Linkara Atop the Fourth Wall's SPD and Overdrive reviews and he pointed out that the so called "mentor" of Overdrive, Mr. Andrew Hartford, mightve been the founder of SPD by taking Roses line of "youre rich, buy an army" and turned that into a police force that keeps the peace between humans and aliens

I have childhood attachment to MMPR and its characters but Bridge from SPD is easily one of my favorites from that era of seasons. He was so entertaining and seeing him again was a special treat.
I have a theory that the RPM universe could be a branch off of Wes' battle(where he lost) can line up with it.
Then RPM switches to spd... And down the line of the alt time force.
Except in Time Force you have only his descendant Alex’s word that he lost, but The year 3000 being very much the same as it was and Alex’s presence showing that he lied. Wes actually won that battle without the help of the others.

I actually think that SPD and RPM might be the same universe. And the biggest proof is how humans in SPD treat machines/androids/cyborgs that look human. After the creation of human-machine hybrids (like Tenaya and Dillon) humans started to fear them and by proxy every machine that looks human. Especially after seeing how dangerous and powerful Tenaya was. Just look how Sky treated Sophie, simply because she's a cyborg.
Not only that but the Dino Thunder ranger's power source are their Dino Gems and after defeating Mesogog they gems stopped working, so in the other dimension the Dino Gems were untouched and working.

i think this is True as SPD could lied to Dino Thunder and Once a Ranger participants. They didn't know if non main universe rangers (RPM, Dino Charge) would be accepted instead of teams out of their time like Time Force.

Well it's cuz in the sentai, that Q-rex is the combination of the time force Q-rex, the dragonzord and one other thing, but of course, you only get that info in the Sentai lol

In the crossover episode it was shown that dino thunder and spd are in the same universe. We also know that dino thunder is in the main universe since Tommy Oliver is there. Therefore, since dino thunder is in the main universe and spd is in the same universe as spd, then spd is in the main universe.
Beast morphers is another parallel universe that didn't have rangers before the beast morphers

@@ryanthekinghunter5357 They never confirmed where Beast Morphers were: RPM and Dino Charge appeared through portals in the show. Jason appeared in a portal but was in the grid, and Dino Thunder/Mighty Morphin jumped through portals but in the Dino Charge dimension.

Prolly a boom studios remake that shows just that. A space pirate crew finds the ranger keys and uses them just like the actual gokaigers.

Hey Este can you do a video reviewing the power ranger multiverse in chroniclogical order because it's confusing to me
Though SPD did team up with Dino Thunder said their "future" 1 Trent's future was never mentioned 2 since that team up no one reference those specific ranger futures including Connor Ethan Kira themselves in Grid Connection.
But in Dino Fury Javi could mention Kira's music Izzy Conner's Soccer camp. Ollie for Ethan's tech. Or Amelia star struck by Trent's Art Pop Pop said she was so good at coloring books.
I wish they would make an SPD movie sequel about the team in the future and somehow involve the In Space team, Time Force team, and Masked Rider in a big crossover versis some big enemy, idk Drakkon and his mmpr army or something, ya can't have a power ranger joint without JDF
my own theory was that both SPD & RPM were their own separate dimensions and that its the work of the Morphin Grid causing them to team up with the main dimension rangers or something but that was also thrown out the window the recent movie, Power Rangers Once and Always, where SPD has been given a slight spot in the movie so im not entirely sure where I am with this theory any more lol-
What if "RPM" takes place in the same universe as "MMPR: The Movie"? And Venjix was created as a response to the Power Rangers temporary absence while Ivan Ooze was attacking earth. 🤔

I don't think this would be possible because if RPM took place before SPD other ranger teams should be inside the dome, and another interesting fact is that The SPD Rangers mention what lives the Dino Thunder Rangers would live in the year 2025 but as mention above, this would throw everything out of canon, because we never see the Dino Thunder team in RPM.

Just fyi bridge actually explains in Once a Ranger that after Jack quits SPD that sky was promoted to SPD red, bridge got promoted to blue and then to red when Sky got promoted.

Enjoyed the vid. IMO, the showrunners/brain trust for Power Rangers really need to come up with a couple of timelines that include shows in various dimensions and release the list to fans. The easiest way to connect them is through the Morphigng grid. They can theorize it is an extradimensional power source, so every Ranger from the alternate timelines is connected because they are all powered by the same force. The science in some shows and magic in others are simply different methods of accessing the energy. I’d make Zordon an extradimensional being too. He can exist in all the universes at the same time through his tubes, but cant enter any specific dimension. So he could be the mentor to multiple versions of the team in the multiverse, but he would be the same Zordon.

I think branched timeline idea where the Armada from Megaforce/Super Megeforce somehow places the individuals that would forge the Earth branch of SPD in a position where they would deviate from their Earth-bound path by either the Armada themselves be bound for Earth or be attacking Orion's home planet during the voyage of the founding members of Earth's branch of SPD, causing them to counter the Armada.

Can you talk about how fast the Terra Venture was built or how Lost Galaxy takes place in the "not so distant future" between In Space and Lightspeed Rescue? My theory is the humans of Nasada re-purposed Astronemas ship which was on earth in countdown to destruction with help of advanced space technology from the people of KO-35 to make it.
If the comics r to be believed then the red ranger of 1969 is the creator of terra venture and had decades to build it.
Operation Overdrive is in the same universe as RPM (Red Ranger crossover) and SPD, Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm are in the same universe (Dino Thunder crossed over with both shows)
RPM is in a universe/dimension seperate from every other PRs. RPM and Operation Overdrive did not crossover but Scott from RPM dimension hopped to the PR Samurai era of the main universe in the Clash of the Red Rangers mini movie.

If they were, that'd mean that RPM was in the same universe as the rest of the series, especially Dino Thunder. Which we know is the future of the main universe since we had SPD first bring DT to the future and then go back to their time.
Former executive producer Eddie Guzelian has said that his original intent was for RPM to stand alone with regards to its story, not necessarily its continuity with relation to the previous Ranger seasons; and several references to past seasons were made inside RPM with intent to establish it to be part of the main timeline while not intruding upon that story, and Venjix's control of global networks and communication being why the setting of RPM was isolated from all contact with other potential help from other Ranger teams until its conclusion.It was not until the production of Samurai and their crossover under Executive Producer Johnathan Tzachor that this was disregarded, and RPM was formally removed from the main timeline's continuity as occurring in a separate universe. As revealed by Tzachor at Power Morphicon 2011, he personally did not consider anything made after Wild Force to be Canon.
TBH. RPM should be in its own universe. The post-apocalyptic theme doesn't fit the rest. SPD had already established that it is whether Tzachor thinks so or not.
My theory is RPM is set in a universe where SPD either doesn't exist or Earth just never joined it. That's how Venjix was able to conquer Earth w/o extraterrestrial resistance.
RPM is confirmed by the ninja steel episode "Dimensions in Danger" it is its own universe seperated from the prime universe.
But ur theory doesn’t make sense because in operation overdrive. The Red SPD ranger says that he was the third B-Squad ranger to become the Red ranger after the first red and the blue ranger

For me RPM is obviously directly related to Wild Force because you know this is the same powers but tamed and transformed in human tech.
And for me Sky father is Andros, only Andros can be is real father. Because we know this is father who co-created the SPD so there is basically Rangers before. And RPM doesn’t had Rangers before RPM and for what we know doesn’t had after too.
And the splited timeline doesn’t work because in RPM the Rangers operators are the first and for now the only Rangers that exist in this Univers, no aliens attacking, no weird things of the past just RPM…
Well RPM is absolutely in an AU/AT since in Ninja Steel when gemma shows up the ninja steel rangers have never heard of them

They could be linked, but there's alot of stuff as you say that muddles things up with the crossovers etc.
The comics are Canon as far as I'm aware, including soul of the dragon, which means spd is in the main universe with Tommy and all his past rangers, maybe it is that RPM is a point in time where it split off?
In 2025 they should do something with SPD tbh
