- HOW TO TRANSFER TISSUE CULTURE FROM STRATUM TO SOIL - Thai Constellation Tissue Culture Update
If you don't already know but I've been on a ride with my tissue cultures. Specifically, the thai constellation tissue cultures. Through trial and error I've finally figured out a way to properly acclimate/deflask them. Today, I am finally biting the bullet and transferring them from stratum to soil.
While the thai constellations were in stratum they developed some decent fuzzy roots which I am so incredibly happy about. Fingers crossed they acclimate well to soil!

You can also mix the stratum in the soil mixture! Works wonders! Also, update?!
They are doing great!! I did an update on my latest tissue culture guide 😊
Why not keep them in Stratum permanently?
Thanks for the update, I’ve wanted to order some from the guy in Ontario but I keep chickening out cuz they are tissue culture and so so small.
🤞🏼🤞🏽🤞🏾 they keep growing good💚
Aww lol he has some that are acclimated now I believe? Then you don’t have to worry about deflasking them yourself ☺️
@@leafletco good idea! I’ll check❤️
@@VanessasPlants Good luck!
I'm from Ontario, whereeeeee 😳
What is the care after they’ve been acclimated?
Hi. I couldn't find if you mention about temperature during stratum prop and then when you pot it. I'm having troubles with some hoyas transition and from what you say here, I might overwater when I transfer to pot mix
Hi there, all of my plants that are residing in the exo tanks receive normal room temperature. I do not use a heating pad. Also, I had mentioned near the end of the video that I did not add any additional water as the new substrates were soaking in water over night. Hope this helps and goodluck!
@@leafletco I already changed the pot mix to one a bit dryer hehe. Thing is that I live in a "cold" place in the world so I have to use heating mat to prop and difficult plants. When they graduate go to live in my mini indoor where is only hot enough. Anyway, I hope it was the overwatering. Thanks!
Youre so beautiful madam
Leave them alone for on other week or so because they barely started to stabilize and you’re going to mess them up.
