Thai Constallation is not growing in the wild. They are a results of TC. If one TC Batch from a mother with root rot issues, they likely are also more prown to rott.
I got mine on the 6th and put it in moss like the instructions said and it got root rot. I am so upset! Could you please share where you got yours? I'd like to try again if they can sell to the US.
Thank you so much for this video! I just ordered a tc baby Thai con and am so excited and trying to learn as much as I can. Everyone has been saying to use moss for the medium but I despise moss. I’m so happy to see you’ve had great success with your soil mix! Do you do anything to or sterilize your soil before hand?
I think moss just roots faster and I too used to hate moss. But I'm indifferent it really depends on what kind of medium you want your plant to grow in. I think it's way easier to just put them in soil right away. Also, to answer your question - no. I do not sterilize my soil before hand. I just use them straight from the bag and air them out weekly. Goodluck!
I just found your video and am so excited! I bought what I believe was a "tissue cultured" Variegated Thai Constellation. It's about the same size as yours and it's planted in spaghnum moss by seller. I want to get her into some soil soon. I bought soiless aroid mix (Worm castings, perlite, charcoal, orchid bark) I've never been nervous about purchasing a plant before until this one! $$$ How are yours doing now?
@illuminadia I planted mine in my own mix of potting soil, orchid bark, and perlite. I have it under a grow light and it's doing fabulous! It has 3 new leaves and is gorgeous! Hope this helps.
Is the water just tap water ? Or it is filtered ? I’m receiving some tcs soon but not sure what water them with or if tap water is ok … please help lol love your videos very helpful for me !❤
I just got one of these in the mail, I followed all your steps and I’m thrilled! I had a question, when, how, and how much do we water them after having planted them like the way you did in the video?
I didn’t water them for a while BUT I would recommend that you watch my updated tissue culture acclimating process in stratum if what you got were Thai constellations 😊 good luck ! Hope your plant babies grow up quick!
Thanks for tips! Looks like they are growing fast! I have problems with seedlings’ leaves yellowing or getting deformed, or seedlings taking a long time to mature or even dying. Baby Gloriosum and Silver mamei for instance. Not TC but wet sticks that grew to tiny plants. Hope to see more tips and how you get the seedlings to mature. Thanks!
New subscriber , perfect timing i just got a baby thai con, im so worried that it might not live after watching so many video’s saying thai’s get root rot😢i will follow you for updates on your plants 👏🏻x

Any updates? I'm in the same boat, thinking of purchasing a TC Albo but I'm not the most experienced plant keeper.
