Would love to see some of these animations make it to PvE, even if it's just in the form of replacing the generic role-based Limit Break 1 & 2 we have now. I wanna shoot things with a Sniper Rifle Square Enix!
This can totally be done imo. Just make it just a fraction of the LB, like a 1/2 a bar, or just have every class use something like all MP and class resources. Not like Monk and Samurai use any MP anyways.

It wouldn't be possible because certain PvE boss mechanics require a very special effect from LB or it wipes you. I am glad they used PvP to really showcase each job's individuality.
Please PLEASE OH PLEASE give us DRGs a moveable Jump. It doesnt even need to auto evade everything (though that would be nice). I just want a proper moving and triggerable jump in PVE
@@Krescentwolf dragoon jump evading would be busted cuz a tank could shirk aggro to a dragoon and the dragon would jump to dodge tankbusters, this sort of thing was a problem when ninja was first introduced and it's defensive cooldown caused it to 100% evade the next 3 attacks, making things like Bahamut's earth shakers deal 0 damage. It would also mean having to choose between using jumps to deal damage or saving them to dodge a mechanic. Overall PvE just isn't designed around DPS being able to use tank-style invulns, especially with a short cooldown like dragoon jumps.

However, it is true that Summoner has 2 limit breaks! Summon Bahamut and Summon Phoenix are two separate limit breaks that can be used, though you have to choose one or the other.
Yeah, PvP is different to PvE; I think balancing PvP like how roles work in MOBAs is better than how roles work in a combat trinity for PvE. In PvP Tanks/Healers/DPS is too restrictive. You need Juggernauts/Defenders/Support/Control/Mages/Marksman/Skirmishers/Assassins. And SE achieves this with the new limit breaks complementing each job.
Might as well add blackmage to that list too it has great crowd control tho the fire & ice status effects sometimes turns the tables in some situations, having a purple a aura looks nice too.

Not gonna lie, the MCH LB is actually pretty cool... even if it got me KO'd. Was guarding the crystal while the enemy team was reviving after getting rolled, then this MCH hits me with a Drill (I think they Analysed) and then uses their LB. I was dead before I had time to react (SMN's have low HP) and the PLD just turned around when they saw me KO. We still won in the end, but that MCH made it their mission to make sure I died at least once.
Every job should have its own personal limit break. They can do that! I wouldn’t mind having just 1 new job next expansion if they can somewhat add something like this for every jobs.

It actually used to be somewhat like that for example bard lb3 was what is currently healer lb3 it was the only dps that could do that but as you can imagine some lb3 were much better then others so the limited them to class in standard gameplay

When i saw that MCH has Cast Times in PvP i just screamed cause that was what i wanted back so bad since SB. I really hope they go back this route. for PvE as well.
They should make MCH more like MM hunter in WoW imo. Mm has many instant cast abilities, with very powerful shot on a cast, but you can move freely. It would be very cool if MCH used the sniper rifle for similar ability.

they should redo gnb kit, they put too much works into juncion that 66% of its kit doesnt even work against certain comp, no healer no aurora, no tank? no nebula, even the adding bonus from juncion on continuation provides no actual damage, no self sustain or mitigation, not even cc outside of limit break, while other tanks kits stay consistent from match to match, self sustain, tankiness, debuff and even damage…

Feels like jobs have lost a lot of their own personality/identity in PVE, but looks like they managed to catch a lot of it with the pvp reworks

Tank LB1 and 2 is definitely used to attempt a run salvage in which you can make your party survive a failed mechanic.
