Honestly I feel the new pack is kinda dumb, it feels like things that are already implemented/should be implemented in other packs like in seasons it would make so much sense for them to have snowboarding since winter and everything. And arent already festivals a thing in city living or are they different
@@Inkedalic3 I mean yes but seasons is a ginormous pack I only bought seasons and I feel like it us enough and also if they added it to seasons there would be no new ways to make expansion packs
@@yasinsgames9919 1. Yes seasons is pretty big but that doesnt mean that they can add just one more tiny feature of snowboarding since it would make so much sense?
2. No more way to make packs? So now your telling me that they have this pack there will never be any more packs EVER?
3. There is plenty of content that people want from previous sims games that sims 4 doesnt have yet, they could add that to make an expansion pack or make something entirely new!

This is my favorite BG Starter build by far. I love that it has real plants, modern design, affordable. There's nothing to criticize for the budget. Great job!
When you pointed out the dinosaur,, they probably just tweaked that asset for the snow sculpture
They definitely used the same dino with a new texture. Someone placed them side by side in debug, and they're the same. :P
and that is good I support reusing assets and I wish they did that with a waterfall you could shower in in Mt. komorebi

THEY FINALLY ADDED SOLID WHITE AND BLACK SWATCHES OF FLOOR TILE INTO THE BASE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM ALMOST AS EXCITED FOR THIS AS I WAS FOR THE SPLIT LEVELING I SWEAR!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN SILENTLY WANTING THIS WHENEVER IVE MADE BG HOUSES FOR A FUN CHALLENGE FOR FOREVER!!
Sidenote: I feel like all of her "testing Sims" have had the Kleptomaniac trait. The only outlier being the HotDog man she had live out of a dumpster.
Another sidenote: I feel like we are beyond use to the watermark. Some of us even look forward to it because that means we get her infamous "This video is brought to you by EA Gamechangers. I am not being paid, they just sent me the pack early" intro.

Kayla, I cannot tell you how happy I am that you’re showing the rental house building process. I’m notorious for building vacation houses but because I only have the base game, I mark them as generic lots, but now, the update will make them real!
Absolutely love this house. Totally my style. I've only been playing a few days so I have a lot to learn, but I hope to make a similar build very soon!

Lazy and Klepto aren't bad traits gameplay-wise. Especially Lazy, god-tier trait behind aspiration, reward, career-oriented traits like "Creative" or "Art Lover" for a painter.
IRL though they suck.

I’m so excited for these platforms to be able to do split levels! There have been so many ideas I have for split level homes, and now I can execute them!
For the issue with the front door, you could keep the living room on 'ground level' and lower the rest of the house down 1. youd have a trim but youd have the door right. At least i think anyways. Dont have the patch yet to know for sure.
So excited for the patch. I’ve already been thinking of different ways to upgrade some of my builds.
The main reason I’m excited about split level coming to the game is because most houses I like are from the 70’s or 80’s, and they usually have some type of den- so I’m really glad that those houses can now be emulated correctly.

I think the platform /door issue could also have been fixed by placing a “step” on the outside using a small platform on the outside foundation so the height on both sides of the door is the same. So excited for platforms and lilsimsie platform builds!

I do not know why but I figured that the split leveling could make a good family home, so I figured this would be good for the Parenthood world or The Island Paradise world.... um Sulani?
This also makes me REALLY want to include a loft space area. I have never made one before but it has been a building dream to create a loft space in The Sims 4. I figured it could be easier because you would create a second story, add a ladder going up, and then knock out half the flooring for the second floor and add a railing. Maybe with split leveling, you can try raising the platform to create a loft space and do not even have to worry about taking out the section of flooring.
I guess the issue with this comes the height limit.
