I’ve really noticed how you’ve been building differently and although I always love your videos and watch daily, it’s really fun to watch! :) You’ve been using much different items and doing little features in the building that are new as well. I really appreciate the effort and it isn’t going unnoticed & I’m sure lots of others agree.
A few months ago I complained she doesn't use her creativity enough, because she is architecturally very creative and she always did something very similar up until a month ago, now she has much bigger variety and uses her creativity way more

You should try using high tables with bar stools in small spaces for dining sets since stool blueprints are smaller (only single tile) than a regular chair :) Especially the one came with tiny living, the glass table. 🤩🤩

ooooh that's a really good idea, to piggyback on that I feel like that would be good visually, too - since there's so little horizontal space, something that draws the eye upward would make it feel less cramped!
I hate that that table is in the wrong category compared to the other tables, I often forget/miss it and I really like it.

I love how Kayla never has enough with one challenge. Sure, it could just be a cube, but of course it also had to be all-white and a tiny house. I love her.

everyone was so unhappy with the base game builds and the blue suburbans but when kayla is actively branching out we have a new complaint: doesnt use enough color in a house actively intended to be the hyperminimal, clean, modern look... and it looks good!

Though many of the blue swatches are either very pale or have gray undertones. And she usually combines them with white or beige (which does look cute)
I’ve thought this a lot with the interiors, as a maximalist I miss seeing vibrant and complimentary palettes
As an artist most of the time I get angry whenever she says some colors dont match together when they actually do.
@@roebow1952 as a fellow maximalist, I agree. But I have the greatest respect for her use of textures. She made an entirely white house just now, and it looked really good, simply because she understands textures so well, I believe!
As someone who watches the twitch streams, I really appreciate when she builds on here and it’s real time/ something I haven’t already seen. I feel like it’s more speed builds than this but I love these videos and I’m glad recently she’s done a few of them

Kayla You really made this all white house turn out great! I like how You worked with textures, and yeah just clean, not too clinical looking IMO. Well done! I enjoy these "not restricted to certain packs" builds, it's fun to see what You can do when You have everything to choose from.

This is the size of every building I make in the Sims 😂 3x2 bathroom, 4x3 kitchen, 4x4 bedroom and whatever small livingroom there is 😂

lilsimsie has now built two houses that I would happily live in lol - the Plumbob-shaped house and this one! I'm not sure if I'd always love the all-white-and-plants aesthetic, but for today, I like it lol! ^_^
Never made the open space like with the bed and living all together, but I love this! Gonna have to try something similar😊

That was a fantastic build!! All-white house sounded weird to me (I love maximalism and cosiness) but this house kinda grew on me!! Small and cute, and just two rooms. I might be stealing some ideas for sure!!

I personally don't really like modern irl but I have to recognise doing a solid colour challenge is very hard, especially with white, and this was very successful. Especially in a relatively small space

Fun fact : if you alt place with the dream home decorator shelves/any shelf any counter is STILL FUNCTIONAL I tried and it works! So if you want a cluttered kitchen ONLY or if you want use alt placing

I actually just did a... surprise, surprise... _failed_ Dream Home Decorator gig where I built a skinny, two story arcade for the werewolf bar. lol It's two 16x16 cubes stacked on top of each other and I think I tricked myself into believing that I designed it after the weird outhouse-like bathroom the bar has... lol
The gig failed when my sim had already gotten a happy-crying reaction from Lou Howell... as soon as I decided to sleep on the lot... and I guess I didn't notice the-...
Oh wait. I forgot... lol Sleeping on the lot of my previous gig seemed to auto-fail the next gig I had set up actually. I must've passed the test of the previous gig then... and I vaguely remember being paid even... but I guess I was too focused on Lou's cuteness. lol x'P Ugh. I guess that's the last time I go to sleep on a gig lot, but maybe it would've done the same thing had I just gone home? I hope not. I hope it wasn't a bug that happened because I scheduled a new gig on the lot of the previous gig and then went to bed on that lot. lol

I think you did a really good job! I usually dislike all white, but I wouldn’t mind living in that house 😍 the kitchen is maybe a bit too big for my liking, but I really love the choice of decor.

Yeah the window/lighting thing is real broken. I built a breeze block house for my legacy and the lights in the open rooms never show up but the Sims don't think it's dark.
NEW CHALLENGE : you make builds inspired by each state. For example in Arizona - muted color with stucco. Florida - tropical vibes
I usually never do all white but I quite liked this!
