Thank you for the video! :) I have always found it really frustrating that a university diploma of an ESL teacher is of no value for those positions it seems. So, I can study linguistics, then go for a TEFL/Tesol certificate for two-three months, and that's it: I'm recognised as a good teacher! While there were several courses in English teaching methodology at the university that lasted for 3 years in total, but who needs them? :(
I am glad you found it helpful! And I totally share your feeling, especially after I finished my DELTA and accidentally saw in on wig job description requirements CELTA/DELTA - I understood that the person who was writing ✍️ that job description didn’t feel any difference between those two .
Hi! A short answer is no, because DELTA on its own does not constitute an MA qualification but is considered to be at the same level, which makes holders eligible for exemptions, credits, and fast track options in a variety of UK based universities.
😊
Thank you
What a lovely idea to make a video on this, thanks Julia 💞

I have a question
Is Delta equivalent to a master's degree?
Is Delta holder eligible for a Ph.D. in English Language?
Thank you.

Thank you
So can a Delta holder be eligible for PhD?
@@reemamer1237 I would suggest to check the requirements of a particular institution 👍.
Hii, could you do a video about jobs in China?
Hi! Thanks for an idea! Interesting topic, I was checking this market back in time. I will record one of the videos about it.
