    I love the Medieval Blacksmith set - one of my favourite sets. Had a lot of castle Lego as a kid - compared to what I had back then it’s such a massive advancement in building techniques and the colours used.

      Totally agree, the blacksmith is definitely up that as one of my favourite sets last year. So stunning

    I can’t tell you how excited I am to see this series unfold. I unfortunately missed the castle in the forest set, but am going to try to part it out. I just love castle theme and have many of the previous sets. I need this type of inspiration to take my collection further. 😉

    Love medieval sfuff from LEGO, I think I´m going to get a safe to put all my stuff over there. That official set is a dream come true for many. On your consturction, river and forest base whereabouts look nice, it is going to end good, and... 910001 18+ set, what is THAT ? bricklink ? Have a blast 😯 Ha, the end was so... medieval 😀

      @HighTeaToys  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea, it was part of the Bricklink Designer Program. where they got rejected Ideas projects and made some into official sets. The groundwork is still evolving and many more changes will be made no doubt, But I am having so much fun. Love a new challenge

    Hi new subscriber here 👋 Loved how you "carved" the river in the plate and I can't wait to see the village grow!
    (Fun thing, it was the Houdoe at the end of one of your videos that surprised me and made me watch a bunch of your older videos. And well now I'm hooked and can't wait to see it all evolve!)

    This is a cool project! I love the work youve done on the river, and that castle set is awesome. When I think Lego and medieval, I immediately think of two things: This small moc I saw of a sword in the stone type scene, and also the Lego Fright Knights theme (but I don't think that particular asthetic would quite work here).

  • @Brooks_MB33
    @Brooks_MB33 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    This was awesome! Excited for the review! I think the water river looks great!!!! The only thing I’m not a fan of (which is legos fault not yours) is that the blacksmith is the same size as the castle which makes it look a bit odd in comparison. So definitely try to distance it from the blacksmith.

    • @HighTeaToys
      @HighTeaToys  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yea, I agree the building is really very large in comparison to the castle. I’m currently working on ways to create some forced perspective. But may need to moc the blacksmith. I’m not sure yet.

    Looking forward to seeing ye olde medieval scene take shape. I would make a suggestion of pulling the wardrobe forward an inch or so if you can. That way it will overhang the back more and not the front.

  • @johnnysparckle

    Very nice start with your medieval MOC. Ik have started a medieval MOC myself as well. And also learning a lot. Your start on the baseplates is already much better. And scaling in combination with actual sets is really difficult. Can't wait to are your progress. Unfortunately I'm bad at filming and photography otherwise we could exchange ideaal. Good luck with the entire process.

    Add the hobbit hole in there! Maybe add some Harry Potter parts or like the hippogryph and make it a fantasy area not just medieval
