At some point they gotta run out of spotlight variants for knull, doesn’t he have the most of them? It’s ridiculous

All of Knulls new variants shouldn't be in spot light caches (in my opinion).

Pulling an 11 power Agatha that plays turn 4 isn't that bad tbh
Blob isn’t capped at 15 power, 15 is actually his MINIMUM so long as your deck isn’t empty
I'm still playing thanos, a big boy version lookingto discount skaar and he's great there. Blob would probably be good in lockjaw or skaar decks without thanos.
I believe with Valentina his 15 power threshhold still drops so he will hit 13 or higher and cap
@batmanwins5701 that's right because it says "Gain" 15 power and he will start at -3 power, so a Valentina Blob will stop at 12+

He's job basically is combined those Big Card together something like Magneto 12 + 14 Giganto = 26

Even in Loki you can easily just play Mirage or Cable. I also don't think Valentina is an absolute must have.
As a fan of mirage, this is a must have for me. Love these sort of cards and would also mean i got every card realeased in a season for the first time 🎉

It always seemed like a card made to make Loki more versatile. I'm sure itll be a fun card, but primarily its for Loki. I do see it being a decent 2 drop to drop into any deck tbf, but it just doesnt synergize with anything outside of loki most of the time. You see if you highroll with the card if not you loki it away. Simple enough.

Yeah, I think if you include her in your deck Loki or Devil Dino are a must to mitigate her downside.
She will be fun but not overwhelmingly powerful. I have Nick Fury in my Loki decks and even with 3 chances he pulls crap a lot.
I think the hype is Quin Jet + Luke Cage = Stonks, right?

1. QJ
2. Val
3. Odin on Val
4. Luke Cage + 1 drop
5. Val's 6 Drop + 2 Drop
6. Red Hulk / something big

I love your input at the end. Cannonballs week everyone was saying skip and I was excited to pull him just as a flavor pick. Same with Hercules, as soon as I stopped trying to pull the nuts, snap got more enjoyable for me

I almost never open SC for variants, except for Black Knight and latest Nico variants. However, I am tempted to do so for that Blob, he just looks so good and goofy, fits the voice line so much.
Thanks Drew, great analysis as usual. Really appreciate all your insight and hard work putting these together, they are priceless. It just cost me 4 Keys for White Widow and earlier this month 4 Keys for Red Hulk. Plus I already have Blob & Knull. So I'll probably pass on her and if she turns out good wait for her to be paired in another Spotlight Cache, which is how I got Jeff, Gladiator & Iron Lad. Could use Tokens but typically only use those for Series 4 and not Series 5. Thanks again!

Another cool vid! Blob isn’t exactly capped at 15 - he’s capped at the value of the last card from your deck which takes him over 15. So if the remaining cards in your deck in order were Gladiator (8), Cull (10) and Yondu (2), Blob would be 18 and stop after Cull. If the order were Gladiator, Yondu, Cull, though, he’d be 20 power because Gladiator and Yondu wouldn’t take him over 15 - so he’d absorb Cull as well.
Finally I can skip a week and save up some keys for June. The number of times I've needed 4 keys for one new card has been rough.
Very well detailed video - Agree with you, not worth the money/tokens for sure. But I think as a card its worth it 100% as 2 mana 2/3 is decent with a free card
With Quinjet, you could play Agatha on turn 3, right after you play Valentina.
I still dont have Blob, so im pulling for the o' 2 new cards combo! Also, her ability seems really fun, wouldnt mind getting Valentina

Ya. Looking at the 6 costs really puts the card in perspective. I guess I could live without Blob. However I really did want that Knull variant. I don't have a good Knull variant.

hey drew, what's your opinion about the fact that there is no new "ongoing" card on sight? (we got only one since january). I think that marvel snap has an issue with keywords in general and that ongoing cards need to be reworked
Great content Drew. I lean to pass also - whilst it’s giving you a free card that you don’t have to play, I can just see it getting cut from too many decks. It defo has a home in Loki and SD need to look at Nick Fury as a consequence of this - he’s going to get less play than he already does.
could be fun, but i can really only see her getting used in loki decks. may cards seem pretty weak too, maybe sasquatch but im not as convinced as others. hopefully we get some interesting otas instead. time to save up some keys
Just got White Widow from a spotlight so not worried about getting Val or Blob. Val could be a Cable replacement unless you are trying to mill

Id argue destroyer is a good pull in many cases for a loki deck. Basically as long as you dont have quinjet on the board, everything you play before loki is mostly set up cards that can leave you lacking space to play all those loki discounted cards, so killing them with destroyer t4 then hitting a quinjet loki combo t5 seems like it could be a very powerful playline

I was wanting this one cause inwas planning on skipping widow as i only needed nico....and of course the gsme made me spend all 4 keys to get to get nico. Usually i gotta spend more keys on the main person for the spotlight, not this week.
Yeah, I was more sold on Valentina before. As you showed, the good pulls are not that many.
The last 3 cards I got took me only one key! Red Hulk, guardian and widow! Let's see if I get lucky with Valentina too

The thing with Valentina, is she’s a mandatory token card for me, and while I have the tokens, idk if she’s worth 6000 since I think she’s more a fun factor card

Been saving tokens for this since i love loki and in that deck worst case scenario it is just another card to switch with loki. Id open caches but i have the other two cards and im saving up to hit three Eternals weeks the month after next.
Infinaut a good pull with Valentina
The game always screws me with locations or bad hands so I go for the fun cards, like Pixie and Valentina, I'm definitely picking this one up.
Discard might not hate Valentina as much as you think - 2 play gets me stuff I can Corvus Glaive out and the Hela back, not AS terrible as it may first seem.
The fact that Apocalypse would only have 3 power after being added to your hand by Valentina still baffles me💀

Have you ever done a video where you go back and look at your snaps or passes and decide if you were right at the time? That might be interesting to see maybe a month or three after the cards were released. See if your opinion has changed or not?
Yeah I did that for my star ratings a while back! But I haven’t for snap or pass and I’ve thought about it. Maybe! Truthfully I feel pretty good about my picks in 2024, 2023 had some questionable decisions 🤣

A solid 2 drop with tremendous versatility. In addition, it has a lot of potential synergies, in my opinion its power level and what it offers can make it a card like Jeff.
valentina gonna catch nerf hammer really fast imo -2cost is too much specially if you run luke to nullify the downside. When they learn that -2 energy cheat is too much
This is one of those cards that if it was 3000 tokens I'd snatch up and not look back. Chaotic fun is what I like.
I'm definitely snapping on valentina. My thoughts are greedy combo deck.
T1) quinjet
T3) Magik
T4) Wong
T5)Sera (On wong)
T6) Onslaught (on sera and wong) + valentina (On wong) Generates 4x 6 costs that cost 1 (quinjet + double sera)
T7) the 4 generated 6-costs plus luke cage and whatever else is in your hand
I think this goes straight it Loki, maybe even with Grandmaster and if you get poor pulls just drop the Loki
Honestly agatha isnt that bad of a draw either. Especially with quinjet because she just plays herself automatically next turn. In fact most of these cards at 6 cost are pretty good alone just for the straight power lkke hellacardier or alioth or thanos. 3/11 cooks
Pass. Taking 2 turns to play a random 6 drop. Very occasionally may do something crazy - not worth 1-4 keys or 6k tokens.
So Luke cage is the key card to her deck imagine a affliction deck that being played right now you just play her in it as it adds value most of the time it will be in more decks like a cannon ball this is a sleeper card
4 cost heimdall, agatha, and infinaut should be in the good category. agatha just plays herself on 4, you can just skip and play infinaut, and heimdall is such a clutch juke.
If you Valentina on 5, Agatha plays the final turn for you and infinaut is unplayable. So I’m not saying they’re bad but it’s situational!
Heimdall could, but sometimes board states don’t allow for that flexibility and it’s somewhat depending on the deck. I feel like he’d move 1-2 things which isn’t great for a 4/5

Pretty nice she is a pass honestly because of all the great cards so far this month. Gonna save for a few weeks and chill. Widow, rulk and red guardian are all awesome

@@marcusweltzien2564 If theres a single card you want, always have 4. If theres 1 of 2 cards you want, then have 3. That's genuinely the rule I go for.
Though of course also look at future caches to see if there's a better one for you.

If you play a deck in conquest with loki, Val and quinjet, you need Rogue. Mobius will wreck you otherwise
I do enjoy playing Loki but Valentina doesn't seem like a must have for that deck.

Sure she’s able to fit in but I wouldnt cut Cable for Her. Loki decks are kinda tight like discard, I’m gonna skip and wait till she drops in another spotlight, Loki will still be very playable without Valentina, she’s not making the deck much better imo, usually you just want a big hand by turn 4 or 5 to drop Loki. I’d rather steal an enemies random card than getting a 4/2 dr doom that I might not wanna play anyways.

Do you always draw Valentina on/before turn 2? Think about playing her turn 5 and getting infinaut.
Plus I didn’t say the bottom tier is bad, in fact I said they can be game winning, they’re situational.

I just feel like valentina is a slightly worse nick fury, the lower cost is good but the power reduction on said 6 costs seems sus, as far as Knull goes hes gotta be the most frequent spotlight card. Great for new players trying to build a destroy deck but after a while it's like cmon, knull again?
