The overtly orderly cacophony of the military camp was broken by the unorthodox, angry spitting of insults in Latin from an iron-cuffed prisoner being dragged along by his arms. His captors, clad in impressive and foreign armor the likes of which he had never seen, held themselves with an almost regal distinction as they pulled him along towards a large red tent.
The one on his right barked in some unknown language to his ears and they deposited him in a heap once the tent flap had been cast aside.
"Vile dogs!" spat the quite ironically named Conqueror who sat on his knees in iron chains, "When my allies find me...!"
He trailed off. The inside of the tent was rather decadent, and hadn't been what he was expecting of a military encampment. In the center sat a single man, weathered in his appearance, sipping from a small, white teacup with an interested glint in his eyes. A quiet hornlike instrument was being played by a musician on the far end of the tent.
"Please," said the obvious General in a peculiar accent, "Join me for a cup of tea. Do you like Ginseng? It's my favorite."
The Conqueror frowned, and narrowed his eyes.
"The Jiang Jun has asked you a question!" the armored soldier to his right lifted his hand and flattened his palm.
The Jiang Jun raised his hand and shook his head. The soldier lowered his hand, but kept his free palm closed around his sheathed dao sword's hilt.
The Conqueror, a bit apprehensively, stood up and moved himself to the chair opposite the general, and plopped himself down in it. The Jiang Jun set his teacup down and politely poured him a cup of his own, and offered it afterwards.
"Please," the Jiang Jun insisted "Drink. You must be thirsty."
The Conqueror hesitated only a moment before drinking the hot tea as if it were water, barely minding the heat of the beverage. The Jiang Jun seemed almost displeased with the quick downing of tea that was meant to be sipped and enjoyed, but remained silent and refilled the prisoner's cup.
"Would you prefer Jasmine tea?" asked the Jiang Jun.
"I've... never had tea..." admitted the Conqueror.
"How unfortunate!" exclaimed the General with a bit of a shocked tone, "And how... uncivilized"
The Conqueror straightened, becoming offended and spat a few insults in Latin, "What do you know? What are you, some new types of Samurai?"
A vicious slap stung his cheek, the backhand with the metal of a gauntlet drawing blood where it struck.
"Cur!" The Tiandi spat, "Speak with respect! You are graced with the presence of Ju-long Zhao, General of the Yóumù jūn and Dragon of the East!"
Zhao barked in that unknown language and the Tiandi backed away.
"Now," the Jiang Jun sipped at his tea "I apologize for my subordinate. He can be... overzealous."
The Conqueror narrowed his eyes, "I've dealt worse."
Ju-long Zhao laughed a hearty laugh and leaned back in his chair, "I would imagine so, given your build. Surely you must have abundance of farming!"
Hesitating a moment, the Conqueror tilted his head, and answered, "Yes, we... herd cattle and farm..."
Zhao nodded, sipping his tea, "I see... Where do you hail from, son?"
The Conqueror took another swig from the teacup, as if it were a mug of beer.
"A village, just over the mountains," he said.
The Jiang Jun lightly smiled and brought his teacup up to his mouth, "And your army?"
The Conqueror paused, freezing in place. He wound the gears in his brain, eyes widening. He shot out of his seat and threw the teacup to the ground.
"Bastard! You won't get anything else from me!" he spat a wad of phlegm at the table separating him from the Jiang Jun.
The Tiandi drew his dao and barked, pointing the tip at the grizzled conscript.
Ju-long Zhao set his teacup down calmly and looked up at the Conqueror, "I see. Though, you seem to not understand - your mere capture is confirmation enough for my Yóumù jūn to press onward. Judging by your armament, you aren't a long-range scout, which means the rest of your contingent is nearby. And if such a contingent has circumvented those mountains, that means there is a pass."
The Conqueror balled his fists. His anger boiled in his chest. This General had played him without even needing to move a chess piece!
"A village and a herd of cattle will be a welcome treat to my men," the General nodded to himself.
"You won't get a single cow!" spat the Conqueror, "The castle there is-"
He ground his teeth together, realizing he'd been goaded again. The Tiandi jerked on his chain collar and pulled him away from the table.
"Take him back to his cage," said Ju-long Zhao. "Seems I have a siege to prepare for."
As the Conqueror was yanked from the tent, the Jiang Jun looked down at the shattered teacup and spilled liquid on the ground.
"What a waste of tea..." he shook his head.

We now have a story for every single faction in the game. Knights: Black Prior (Ilsa). Vikings: Valkyrie and Highlander(s) (Old HL and his wife, as well as his younger brother as seen in the most recent video). Samurai: Shugoki (Best Boi Atsui). And finally Wu-Lin: Jiang Jun (Zhao).
Keep up the good work, these are a delight to behold.

Man now that's quite a spicy text you made right there i hope to see more stories that are standalone like this because man i enjoy your interconnected stories but this one is a nice read that you dont need to have context to completly enjoy

I enjoyed most of it. JJ runs out of stamina a lot though, so it's kinda frustrating in that regard since all his heavies count as zones.

I Love JJ!
What a thoughtful story for my main character. It’s nice to see other players come up with stories as I have to. The story I came up with for my JJ is shown through this outfits. His first outfit shows that he was a General in the newly crowned Emperor’s army. The emperor’s name is Zhouli(he is a Zhan Hu) & he is a cruel emperor. He promotes Qiqiang(My JJ) to Commander of his army & shows his how to control fire, which was only taught to high ranking Zhan Hu. After serving the Wu Lin Dynasty for many years he starts to see the cruel ness of the emperor & fakes his death with the help of the general & the lieutenant he has grown closest with, Xiu Xing(A Nuxia) & Xiangling (A Shaolin). Together they all live off the grid peacefully until the country of China decides to rebel against the Wu Lin Dynasty. Around this time, the Emperor’s newest Commander, Tengfei starts to think of how to stop the Emperors cruel reign. He hears about the big rebellion that is forming to take down the emperor & goes to look for the 3 mighty warriors that once served the emperor as well. He finds them eventually & they lead the rebellion to big victories eventually leading to the Emperor’s castle. All 4 warriors must fight together to take down the highly skilled emperor as he is a master of fire & a highly skilled swordsman. Qiqiang refused to use the fire abilities that the wicked emperor taught him back then but in the end realizes he has to or they’ll never defeat him. After defeating the emperor with the same fire abilities that the emperor taught him they see that Xiangliang has been badly wounded by the flames of the emperor. As the rebellion celebrates & chooses Tengfei to become the new emperor, after the celebration the last of the 3 warriors give Xiangliang a honorable funeral. Tengfei ushers in a new dynasty, The Wei Dynasty, a dynasty that focuses on peace & prosperity & wants to make Qiqiang the Commander he once was before but for a better cause. Qiqiang politely declines & says he is retired for good & gives the position to Xiu Xiang instead. Qiqiang then ventures into the Middle East eventually stumbling upon the sands of time, powers once held by the prince of Persia...

Two things, 1) impressive gameplay and great video as always. I rarely see JJ’s in game and have never met one who played like this so it was a wake up to what a good JJ can do and how fluid he can look. 2) people are gonna think I was copying your look now cause I have a similar design for my JJ (just lower tier armor but same metal and same colors, least in pretty sure they’re the same)
I swear this dude could become a black hole with the zones he throws holy moly

I went to the other videos and read the stories and oh my god, the writing is so good it actually engrossed me into the story and I fucking hate reading so that is an achievement in its own right! If ever write a fantasy book, I will 100% be one of the first to buy a copy because I love your writing so much
