Love the gold binder looks so classy. Your set up is always so pretty 😍 Well done on the no spends. I don’t like putting £1s in as I use them instead of breaking notes. Fab video 💚
SMB I’ll say it’s been so nice to watch ur videos from the get go. It’s nice to see a mom being so fiscally responsible for her family because that was not the case at home growing up. So thanks for the mom energy !
Aww thank you so much ☺️ my children will always be first and foremost. Their safety, health and happiness are paramount to me every single day and that also has to include financially they can enjoy life worry free 🧡 xx
I tell my little ones that the key to success is preparation .your new home binder is perfect forward planning for when it comes time to move. your doing really well, and all those no spends fab 🌻
Well done on all those no spends and having a great amount leftover 👍🏻🎉. I am glad the steroid spray is helping some 💚. That might be a good idea about the gold rush/50p challenges to help not having to break notes in your purse. The Sparks of Joy challenge is lovely 😍. Adding to your Christmas binder must feel so good (especially in January) 💚. I love your a5 house move binder and envelopes 😍. You have everything covered 👍🏻👍🏻. You are doing brilliant Hayley 💚💚xxx
Thanks Michelle ☺️ it’s definitely helping! I’m torn, feel I’d be better banking the £50 in change and putting it into Iris and just doing a count up and bagging soon as stuff is ready? It feels incredible saying for Xmas in January! I hope it’s a good omen of how well end the year! The A5 binder is definitely helping me visualise and I want to see them all filled 🧡 thanks for taking the time to watch and comment like always 🧡🧡🧡
Hi what I have done is I got a smaller penny challenge which is for £50. Pounds and when I've fill it up I change it for notes and them I made my own £1000 pound challenge folder similar to iris budget and then I put it in there as I'm on a small budget, but saying that I did it twice so now I have my £1000 emergancy funds now and I bought a new laptop for us as my other one died. And a tool box thing for my husband. Budgeting has change the way I look at money. Before it would just have all gone on a credit card. Great videos keep them coming x
I think that’s what I’m gonna do, anything 50p and under in the 100 penny challenge that comes to £55 and just switch it out for notes. Absolutely agree, cash stuffing has transformed my relationship with money. Best decision ever! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment xx
Thought it would help my brain with allocating the money! Hadn’t even considered it till we had a cushion in EF, just hoping nothing disastrous happens to ruin it all
Great video, well done with your no spend day! At the minute I'm just using the penny Savings for my change, as I don't like breaking notes so mostly keep the £1 coins for little bits and bobs xx
Thank you! I think that’s what I might switch to aswell, and condense some envelope so out date night and social together - as quite frankly with having 3 kids I don’t do enough to either to warrant them having their own envelopes 🙈 does that make sense? xx
@Scottish Mama Budgets yes that definitely makes sense. I currently only have 1 binder of envelopes and have condensed categories together just because otherwise it feels like the budget is stretched so thin& some just don't get used xx
Hey!! I loved seeing your goals and I think it’s amazing how prepared you are being for everything coming up. I can see how hard you work so keep it up you’re amazing :) also- all of your set up is soo beautiful
Thanks so much Vee that means a lot ☺️ your videos are getting better and better too and loving watching your journey, will be great to see where we both are at the end of 2023 🧡
No I didn’t! It’s from the lovely Leila at SaphirasDigitals 🧡 her shop is linked in the description, it’s the traditional red one on her site. But she has English, Irish and Welsh gonks too, the Welsh one has a wee bow tie he’s so cute! xx
Try selling your old blinds on Facebook market place, especially if you have a local estate group as they'll have the same size windows 😉even if you get just a pound or two it's still better in your pocket than in the skip x
Oh that’s amazing! Thanks so much for that 😍 will definitely do that, it would buy some teas or coffees when having to go to the house to wait for stuff before moving in ☺️ xx
Hi Hayley. Great video as always. Absolutely loving your house binder. So well put together.. looking forward to seeing you complete it and join you along your journey to your new home 🙂. If you don't mind me asking... Why you moving... have you just outgrown the place or you wanting a different area?
Finish your gold rush as your so close to finishing it, pause your 50p challenge and focus on penny challenge I find having more than 1 'change' challenge going at the same time is spreading yourself abit thin and end up getting disheartened unless your willing to put notes towards it xx
Maybe that’ll be for the best! I have to go to the postie tomorrow so feel torn, I think I’ll sleep on it but regardless I’ll still definitely be using the 100 penny for sure for smaller change 🧡 don’t feel willing to put notes towards it, but maybe I’ll get desperate 🤣🤣 xx
That’s crazy regarding the flooring getting ripped out whether it’s in good condition or not. Seems wasteful. I get wanting to have it to your own tastes but this seems to put pressure on timing. I’m sure you’ve probably already looked into it but I think Ikea’s bunk bed (kura I believe) allows for a floor bed at the bottom. Looks pretty cool ☺️ As for your coin challenges I think just do what you need to do to stay motivated. If that means make the penny challenge move faster then go for it ☺️. x
Isn’t it? I knew someone who had laid brand new laminate and carpet 4 months before moving out (obviously didn’t know) and they ripped it all up. She had even asked them to leave it in for the next tenants as it was so new and they told her either they would rip it out, or she could and take it with her! I haven’t seen the ikea bunk bed, I’ll have a look! I had my eye on the ikea hemnes day bed with the firm mattress set for Mia, single for her but can be a double when she cousins want a sleepover! ☺️ and the price for the bed and the mattress is still really good xx
@@scottishmamabudgets four months?! Wow. That’s mad. What a waste of money, such a shame. I may need to start asking for shares in ikea here 😂…but I do have experience with the hemnes day before and it is a good bed. Great space saver. ☺️ x
I've no advice on how you should or shouldn't do your challenges, just do whatever feels right for you. As for your personal spends, don't reallocate them if you don't spend (unless it's for debt/emergency fund), keep it saved up incase through the year you want a more expensive treat for yourself. X
Thank you! The save 100 envelope challenge is for me and the 50 challenge in self care, which I already feel a little selfish about. I might consider a personal envelope in the future when they are both complete and maybe put half of whatever my spending is away in it that’s left? xx
So annoying when they rip the full things out. Making it inhabitable grrr. My daughter had pica too. We have carpet and find she loves the feeling of it. Xxxx
Crazy isn’t it? It’s such a waste. If the floor and blinds are in great condition you’d think they’d at least ask who was viewing if they wanted them to stay or not. It would save a lot of money xx
Hello from Australia.

You are doing well with the no spends. Great video xxx
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment Ali 🧡🧡
Litrelly did the same with the change breaking notes for it xx I love that gold binder Hayley. I'm saving for My future house atm. Xx
Makes sense to keep some doesn’t it and have whole notes, it isn’t like we have £1 notes anymore 😩
Thanks Sal 🧡 why is moving so expensive?! xx
