Not only has your flying experience increased with this trip but your cinematography and story telling skills have exponentially gotten so good with each episode! I always enjoy watching your films.
To prove that someone at the FAA has a sense of humor, on the High Alt Enroute chart for this area is a fix labeled MOUTN. The summit of Denali. MOUTN is an understatement!
The terrain is absolutely amazing. I flew into Denali and landed in a de Havilland otter on a glacier in 2016. I know how you feel when you say it dwarfs anything you have ever seen before and takes your breath away. Alaska is truly the last frontier
I flew this route up the Ruth Glacier in 2012 with my grandson in my experimental Glastar. It was the furthest North that I have ever been flying myself. You have to break the rule to never fly over areas you can’t land on, but it was worth the risk for this experience. It was the pinicle of my 50 years of general aviation flying. I have also flown the matenuska glacier east of Anchorage and the LeConte Glacier North of Wrangell Alaska several times. Simply beautiful.
Thank you guys, how cool is this, flying 172 into a Beautiful flight, be able to show us sites 99.9 of the population will never see. You don’t need a $500,000 airplane or a glass display all you got to do is look out the window to see such beauty. Thank God for guys and Gals and UTube for providing adventures most of us will never see!. I’ve been flying for 37 years for fun and it’s still opens my eyes what can be done. We appreciate you and your flying adventures and teaching abilities. Take care and fly safe!
So glad this incredible footage wasn’t ruined by cheap, obnoxious music ! What I love most, is the awe and appreciation you obviously had. This was masterfully done Josh and Chris, thanks guys for an epic ride. Safe skies !
Psalm 19.1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." Another amazing example of the greatness of the Creator of the Universe! Thanks for sharing the video, Josh. Always enjoy your work!
This whole series is movie level quality, but especially this episode. Like you said, words just can't describe that view. Thank you for taking the time to put this together! 🙌
I did a cruise to Alaska and just like you it was almost a spiritual event. The beauty just takes your breath away. Movies and photo doesn't do it justice. Thanks again.
I did the same about four years ago and I chartered a helicopter up to a glacier and landed and got out and hiked the glacier. The first time I stepped out of the helicopter I was just like Josh completely mesmerized by what I was looking at and where I was just taking everything in. It was definitely an amazing experience as we certainly don't have any glaciers in Pennsylvania. You definitely have to be there to truly experience the beauty of Alaska. I'm ready to go back, but this time on my own without the cruise ship.
If ever there was a reason to get into an airplane and learn how to fly, its to see views like that. Absolutely stunning. Thank you so much for taking us on this journey.
Wow. That is absolutely beautiful. Those glaciers are so impressive and the rugged mountains. Great photography and editing. Thanks to Chris too for filming and sharing. I would not want to even think what would happen if a plane had engine failure up there. Thanks for sharing.
You know what gets me though? It's that I know full well that no photo or video can give justice to the views out the airplane window. And this is still jawdropping. I cannot imagine the feeling of seeing it in person.
Josh glad I found your series! I told you know place like Alaska!😉I am watching all of these right now from start, even though I live up here, I still get chills when I see your footage because I literally have been to all these places you have shown! The Denali flight up Ruth gorge on a clear day landing by ski plane 5300 ft up on Ruth amphitheater on a clear day staring at Denali watching I gotta avalanches come down the south face I will never forget, your expression says it all!👍
Thanks for all your videos, Josh, "especially" this Alaska series. The wannabe pilot in me will have to live vicariously thru your excellent video works! I was bitten at 15 with the flying bug, but throughout my life never had the money to make that bucket list item a reality and now at 66, it will just have to remain a bucket list item and that's okay. Much appreciate your professionalism and skills at both flying and cinematography! You are a credit to both! Thanks again.
WOW.... No words I’m sure can describe what you’re seeing, we just made our 1st long distance flight to the Bahamas and uploaded to our TH-cam channel and its impossible to convey what YOU see vs. what the camera captures!!!
I lived in Fairbanks for nearly 10 years and drove through Denali Park many times. I’ve never seen it like this before and like you, absolutely speechless......
As good or better than any movie I’ve ever seen, on par with any major motion picture, and with the soft music, oh my, like walking in God’s Cathedral, so humbling... Thank you Chris and Josh!
Cool? Cool is when you see a fully restored 1963 Vette split window. This?? Josh, you have experienced the ultimate in flight experience. You have seen things that 'most' people have never seen, or will ever see, and you had it in the palm of your hand. The video is 110 % awesome! Amazing job. An experience like this is almost life altering. I flew over the area years ago in a F-4 Phantom. We were much higher and faster, but it pretty much left me speechless. Thanks for sharing this 'major' event with us, in high quality. I watched it the second time, and realized you were talking, LOL . Cool indeed. Many thanks.
Hi Josh, what a brilliant series and fantastic part of the world. Only thing missing was Chris shouting “CLEARRRR” and you cracking up 😂. Because of you two Alaska is now on my list of places to visit. From the UK 🇬🇧best wishes to ALL Texans at this difficult time. Stay safe y’all🇺🇸
This series increased his subscribers by at least 50k, but I absolutely agree with you as he hit it out of the park. Now Josh is going to have to move there and kick Texas to the curb, or at least live there in the summer and head back to Texas for the winter months.
Took a day flight for a waterfall hike this last Saturday, and while going through the start up check list my wife said, “are you going to....”, and I yelled CLeEaARrr! I looked at her and said, yes. We laughed hard. I just wished some one else was on the ramp to give a goofy look at me. My life has been enriched by this series. Love the scenery in this video!
My first professional job after instructing and ferrying was Glacier tours in Southeast Alaska. I know exactly the feeling of disbelief when flying over that awe inspiring terrain. I had the pleasure of guiding the mesmerized passengers through the whole experience!
Josh, this was a great and emotional video you have presented. You are perfecting in your editing and cinematography. Your background music was perfect. I am anxious to put this one on our big screen and let my wife watch it. When you complete the Alaska series please consider cutting a CD for us. I think it would be a good seller for you and certainly for all of us.
Epic... I live here (there?), and all I can say is Epic! Great job Josh. As an Alaskan, I have thoroughly enjoyed your Alaska series. Like many of us who live here, I love to see the wonder and amazement of those experiencing this spectacular place for the first time. Incidentally, I spent this last weekend in Homer for a fishing charter. The weather was spectacular, and I couldn't help but think of your flight over the ice fields as I enjoyed the view of those amazing mountains surrounding Kachemak Bay. Again, excellent work Josh. Thank you Josh and Chris.
Only a small airplane for a pilot, but a giant video for mankind. Thanks for sharing your adventures with that screaming wharthog. I appreciate your videos.
You are a very lucky man to fly through an area that very few people have had the chance to see. Cherish the moment and be thankful that you have the knowledge and skill to partake in this great adventure. I am so jealous to say the least. Happy flying!
I was up in Alaska during the Summer Solstice and I walked on a glacier but I was looking for pterodactyl's up around Denali. What a great video series and experience. Awesome work and experience for you!! 5 STARS...
I'm also speechless. TX to CA (in my mind) is where you became a cinematographer more than a pilot video producer and this series just took it to a different level. Truly evocative imagery...gave me the feels. You're not only motivating my flying passion, but my film making one as well. Thanks.
Stunning!! Thank you both for this. Something not many people will ever experience in person. Breathtaking to say the least. Keep up the great work and stay safe.
Simply stunning! Amazingly so. Will be a treat to watch this again, and again. Am still watching (7 times so far) your Florida to the Keys formation flying
Not many people on this planet get to experience Denali. You are a very lucky man. So, I must say Thank You, for allowing us to, in some way, experience it as well.
Been to Alaska 17 times and too the places that you are videoing ----your videos are better then any that I have ever seen--cannot tell you how much I enjoyed them---keep up the good work===
The greate, amazing, impresive grandiosity of our world and mother nature. Congratulations Josh for these kind of videos; I think you have one of the most unique aviation channels in youtube; you show the real passion of aviation, the freedom to fly. At the end, this is what aviation is all about. Thank you so much for sharing !!!!! Keep going, god bless you. Greets from México.
10/10 Josh! It makes me cry.. I hope we aren't causing damage to our magnificent glaciers...with the global warming and everything.. Our beautiful planet..we must take care of it.. And Thank you so much for sharing this trip with us.. PS the music that accompanied was perfect as well
Wow wow wow what a video Josh and Chris. The views are spectacular and the experience, for sure will be unforgettable for you. Keep it up, you're doing an amazing job. It only gets better and better.
What an epic flight! I’ve only flown that area twice... once a few years ago in the pacer, the other time in the jump seat of a 737. So very amazing so very humbling...
Wow!! What an awesome series! I learn a lot from every video that you put up man.. You're content is awesome, however I would like to see more of what you would do before or after these flights(preparations, etc) especially on trips like these. You're 4 day boating trip would've been a excellent addition to this series. Thank you for all your efforts, we can see such beautiful sights sitting halfway across the world and also learn little things in flying. Cheers!!
Josh, your amazing work continues to impress. The most impressive aspect I connect with in your videos is the emotion you convey through music, cinematography, and story telling. You speak for those of us who cannot express what we feel in aviation. Thanks for what you do. Excellent work!!!
That was the most AMAZING footage I think I have ever seen!! The extreme high res cameras make a huge difference. Thank you both for sharing! God Bless!
Thank you for another beautiful video. I am fortunate enough to have experienced flying around Denali. As you said there are no words that adequately describe the experience. Alaska is full of amazing experiences.
I agree with the agreement with the disagreement... I think the mark of great video production is the ability to bring the viewer into the videographer's, correction, cinematographer's space. You two nailed it. I was equally speechless. I even tried to help you with a word or two and failed. Well done.
This is one of the best movies / series I have ever seen on youtube! I really enjoyed it and am thinking to fly in Alaska in 2020 to experience this! Thank you!
Amazing, amazing and amazing!!! It takes my breath away just watching it. Imagine how it feels flying over those sceneries. Wonderful work, guys! Thank you.
Josh, You guys are the luckiest guy on earth to be able to fly in such an amazing location and get such blockbuster footage! I truly am jealous and have now added that flight to my bucket list of flights. Keep up the amazing work you do and thank you so much for sharing such an epic flight!
Wowza Alaska truly is aviations final frontier. Absolutely gorgeous, with fantastic shots. Great work josh. Your cinematic and story telling skills have gotten so much better!!!!
Josh, Thank you for sharing something a lot of people will never experience! Simply beautiful! Great choice of music!! I Also love the Airplane movie references .
Just have to add my voice to everyone saying that these videos are incredibly well-produced and this series has taken your channel to a new level I feel. Your collaboration with Chris is perfect and even if I don't have time to watch it when a new vid comes out I always put it on in the background and leave a like just to give you a little YT algorithm boost. Keep up the awesome work!
Right now, at this moment, this is the best video on the internet, and that takes into consideration Josh and Ronaldo's coast-to-coast series (ref: Grand Canyon and NM canyon landing), as well as everything in Parts 1-7 of the Alaska series. Just incredible.
when you say you have no words,,, try this. How lucky can I be to be able to see all this country in the safety of this small aircraft,,, with my hands on the yoke and throttle. I've been where you are,,, cherish it!
This series is so enjoyable! In every way. The quality is just great! Don't need to be a pilot to enjoy it. I'm not, although I have a big interest in aviation. I've also had a fascination for Alaska for a long time. We have our share of mountains, fjords and glaciers here in Norway, where I live. But the scale in Alaska is immense. Would really like to se it someday. Thanks for sharing this! 😊👍
Not only has your flying experience increased with this trip but your cinematography and story telling skills have exponentially gotten so good with each episode! I always enjoy watching your films.
Couldn't have said it better. Excellent.
I totally agree.
Yes, nothing to add!
I'll add my total agreement as well!
If there was a video that would summarize the utter beauty of Alaska while flying in an airplane; this is THAT video!
Whats more amazing is the seagull popping flares @13:20
My eyes welled up from the beauty of this flight. It looked amazing on my 4K TV. How magnificent! Thank you both for taking us on this journey!
Not only the grace of the image, but the gentle music that make this a unique show. Thank you!
AMAZING! 10/10 on those views!
steveo1kinevo thanks bro!!

The best you’ve done yet Josh. Texas to CA was epic but this is just awesome. Almost romanticising aviation. Keep it up buddy! 👨🏻✈️🛩🇬🇧
no "cLEaAaARRrR!" ??? Color me disappointed :p
Yup. I was looking forward to it too...
I am going to make that my SMS notification sound
So spectacular. You, Chris, and the Skyhawk should at least get nominated for a TH-cam Oscar for this one!
#chrispalmer#angleofattack

Amen!
Many lives have been lost up there. Thank you god
Watched all the series to this point in awe, but this...WOW!...just WOW! Thank you!
This whole series is movie level quality, but especially this episode. Like you said, words just can't describe that view. Thank you for taking the time to put this together! 🙌
Lost for words was the right sentiment, Josh. That view was an absolute vista. Great content once again
I have never watched a video that make me want to travel somewhere more than this one. I have watched this a dozen times! Amazing
I most likely will never, in my life, see that beautiful terrain in real life from that perspective. Thank you for the awesome video.
I did a cruise to Alaska and just like you it was almost a spiritual event. The beauty just takes your breath away. Movies and photo doesn't do it justice. Thanks again.

Majestic is the only word I can come up with!
Like entering heaven, speechless & in aw!
If this is heaven I will be looking forward someday to my journey there this is beautiful

Jesus described it as paradise.
& some believe it all just fell into place?
I personally vote, an incredible creator & artist!

Spellbound watching that video...for sure the most amazing flight to date... Just awesome! Thanks for sharing.
I have never seen Alaska photographed like that before. Totally awesome!!! Thanks for posting.
You know what gets me though? It's that I know full well that no photo or video can give justice to the views out the airplane window. And this is still jawdropping. I cannot imagine the feeling of seeing it in person.
Yeah, they did a bit of justice but it was absolutely unreal in person.
For the first time I really cried watching a video, I could feel the real sensation of "peace".
Stunning pictures. Emotions of peace and calm.
Josh glad I found your series! My wife and I were at Denali in 2013. Thanks for the return!
The only way to truly see Alaska. Thanks for showing me something I haven't seen in many years. Awesome video.
As good or better than any movie I’ve ever seen, on par with any major motion picture, and with the soft music, oh my, like walking in God’s Cathedral, so humbling... Thank you Chris and Josh!
Epic. The footage from the glacier canyon had me choked up. Such awe and grandeur. Thank you for filming and sharing this with us!
And the music was so very perfect. Thank you for that, too.

I think that this is the first aviation related video that I have seen with music that not only didn't suck, but actually enhanced it. Very well done!

I would love to comment but I too am speechless. Josh, Chris - you continue to raise the bar. Thank you both!
Mate you have truely outdone yourself in this series. What awesome camera shots and awesome aviation. Well done mate.

Meant also say I wondered what Marisa’s thoughts would be flying toward the Denali. Probably, “so,so cool” and other appropriate superlatives!
Not many people on this planet get to experience Denali. You are a very lucky man. So, I must say Thank You, for allowing us to, in some way, experience it as well.
You really captured it Josh. Really enjoying the series as a former Alaskan living in the Lower 48. Keep producing the videos.

The most awe inspiring thing I've ever experienced on a screen. Thanks for sharing a once in a lifetime experience.
Wow!! What an awesome series! I learn a lot from every video that you put up man.. What stunning scenery. Beautifully captured and edited. Also room for a throw away line from "Flying High".
I’ve flown the Ruth Claytor Gorge also, couldn’t agree more that it is astounding. Beyond words. Glad you got to experience it!
Josh, you've just topped all of your other videos. Your "sidekick" is a great guy!
Dude, your video editing and camera work is Discovery Channel quality !
That was the most AMAZING footage I think I have ever seen!! The extreme high res cameras make a huge difference. Thank you both for sharing! God Bless!
Had to watch this again and again and again.
Unbelievable scenery. Thank you so much for posting.
Thank you for another beautiful video. I am fortunate enough to have experienced flying around Denali. As you said there are no words that adequately describe the experience. Alaska is full of amazing experiences.
Un-Freakin-Believable scenery! This entire Alaskan Series is awesome! Keep up the outstanding content Josh!!!
Thank you!
Josh, we just moved from Alaska to Virginia last month. This video makes me miss it even more. Great video

Right now, at this moment, this is the best video on the internet, and that takes into consideration Josh and Ronaldo's coast-to-coast series (ref: Grand Canyon and NM canyon landing), as well as everything in Parts 1-7 of the Alaska series. Just incredible.
That has to be the most beautiful place I’ve seen on earth. I was at a loss for words as well. Thanks for sharing - I’m pushing rewind to watch again
when you say you have no words,,, try this. How lucky can I be to be able to see all this country in the safety of this small aircraft,,, with my hands on the yoke and throttle. I've been where you are,,, cherish it!
Put all these episodes on a CD please. Serenity Now....
That scenery...stunning is an understatement. Really amazing series Josh! Wow!
Just WOW! This is so awesome! I'm adding Alaska to my bucket list 👏👍 Thanks for sharing guys 😀
What gorgeous! Someday I might return back to the US to climb Mt. Mckinley.
This series is so enjoyable! In every way. The quality is just great! Don't need to be a pilot to enjoy it. I'm not, although I have a big interest in aviation. For an even MORE awesome awesomeness;

'nough said.
I was thinking the same, but then we would all need a good VR headset too.
This is beautifully edited, Josh. What a stunning collaboration.
superb camera work...brilliantly beautiful!
We live in an awesome creation. Thanks for producing this series!
