I would go as far as to add a 6th pillar: Eating an anti-inflammatory diet. One diverse in CLEAN vegetables, fruits and protein (grass fed, wild-caught and pasture-raised) and lots of healthy fats (myelin is made of this).

Should I avoid echinacea tea? Was diagnosed w MS 17yrs ago. Started on occrevus 3yrs ago. Recently a drank echinacea tea bc I thought I might had caught covid (I didn't) but now I have jellylegs, since drinking 2cups in 2days. I would describe it like the feeling you get when your nervous or scare.

Also , I’ve turned off the ear buds too. When I’m walking at the park I like music for cadence but now I sit for a bit without music or even you. I watch the ducks. And practice mindfulness. A a woman approached and encouraged “earthing “ and swore it would heal me 😂I’m sticking to my dmt

This couldn't have come at a better time. For the first time since I was diagnosed I experienced the severe fatigue hit me. All due to outside stresses. My Dad is in the hospital, 85 years old. Back surgery, really struggling to recoup. Taking my step mom back and forth to hospital because does not drive. Trying to find a decent rehab center. We bought a new home and the paperwork and stresses that come along with that. Managing construction on condo. Not just my unit but the entire bldg. It is like herding cats. Need construction done before we can put on market. Then a few other straws that broke the camels back. I woke up yesterday in brain fog. Absolutely limited ability to function both physically and mentally. I realized I was over doing it. I took the day to myself. I read, I napped, I took a walk later in the day. I called on my sisters to help with my Dad and step mom. I realized I am no longer 35. I am 63 with MS. I am going to start living in the now. I am going to look into some meditation techniques. I am going to try and stop producing movies in my head. Being a former project manager I was paid to think of all the what ifs. I am retired. I dont need to do that any more
    Thanks for the video.

Goood morning everyone! Yay! THANK YOU Dr Boster! Mindfulness!!!!!!!. I’ve already put 20 minutes in Mindfulness this AM, which I already know from experience that this means my day is going to go wonderful and I will stay in the moment
I WILL succeed in learning to stay in the moment. I’m figuring this out Dr Boster.

Ugh, I think I've had anxiety since my early adolescence, then I was diagnosed with MS by chance (by working at a neuroscience lab and being a guinea pig for other lab members' fMRI experiments... it's actually luck because I could start treatment before having any disability or symptoms), so my anxiety went through the roof because having a chronic illness hidden inside you and having to manage treatment to avoid that it manifests... in this economy?! And with a pandemic? And with the company I work at not paying us for months? Life is stressful indeed... But I might switch treatment to something that is not a daily reminder of the invisible Damocles Sword over my head AND find a new job that pays more and on time every month. That should already help a lot. I also started therapy and it helps a lot too.

Thank you again Dr B 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I really wish I could exercise without overeheating. And not fall over due to my balance being horrible and my legs hurting. 😳☹️

What about aquatic based exercise (walk in pool with life jacket on, for example)? balance no longer issue (water pushes back), weakness less of an issue (weigh less in water, so less load on weak leg), overheating no longer issue (water wicks away heat by convection), etc.

    Body Mind Soul
Presence in the present is your present.
The past is over. The future is not here. Your GIFT is this moment. Right here. Right now. Breathe. Stretch. Meditate. Love. Your. Vessel.
    Gratitude.
I am thankful my sight has come back. I am thankful that i am mobile again. I am thankful for the steroids that are helping. I am thankful for my foods that continue to heal.
    I am thankful! ✨💜✨
