    Now for you young kids out there
    The last time triumph was in the moto game
    Bikes had 3 to 5 inches of travel and dual shocks. And motocross was a concept and only outdoors.
    I personally wish them all the best with this and would like to say.

Still if I was looking for a solid motor I would pick a Yamaha in the dirt bike world. My last 3 bikes have all been of the KTM branches because as reliable as the Yamaha's have been the KTM motors are more fun to me. Suzuki gave up long ago, Honda is always changing and messing up something, and Kawasaki's have an incredibly easy to use power band but just not as fun and no 2ts.

    I think we can all agree as a moto community that new comers to the market make us excited. It also changes the market entirely because of the fact they push the familiar manufacturers out of their comfort zone, that is if it turns out successful. The market gets stale here and there when the bike manufacturers can get comfortable turning out basically the same tool for more than 5 years. It'll be good for everyone I'm sure and I'm among the people who hear about something new and want to be the absolute first to get my hands on it and test it out

    • @Natedoc808
      @Natedoc808 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I agree on things getting stale, but change for the sake of change isn't always a positive and getting away from something tried and true ends up biting you in the ass. An example that comes to mind is KTMs new chassis which clearly cannot compete with the prior chassis which was from when Dungey was racing the thing. They went from multiple championships on it, including Cooper Webb's title, to barely clearing top 5 and basically running 5th-10th.

    Nice interview. We all now he is the GOAT but to see he doing all the good stuff for the sport after his racing career is just awesome as well.
    Okay, so he said its an "all new bike". I have been telling my friends that I bet they are acquiring Suzuki's Offroad line up (just as KTM did with Gas Gas fx) and hiring Ken Roczen for 2025 etc (I did not think a "new" manufacturer would step in and develop a new combustion engine platform, but electric. Not so sure about this now. Nevertheless - exciting and good for the sport!

    How does it compare to Cannondale

  • @Erik-gg2vb
    @Erik-gg2vb ปีที่แล้ว +3

    A deal breaker for me is if I can't ride cause the parts I need to ride are on backorder. It is a must they are not a boutique ride. Cannondale is a good example. Have the dealerships and stock parts, something more should do better at. What's going on now with all makers? No parts. Too many manufacture rely on China for parts and to me that is bad.

    • @OtisFlint
      @OtisFlint ปีที่แล้ว

    This is one of those things that it's been talked about and hyped up for so long now with absolutely nothing to show anyone that I've almost completely lost interest. I figured it will be a bunch of new ideas like Buell or the mx bike Cannondale built. A bunch of new ideas that are good but not as good as the stuff that has already been around for years. Like remember perimeter brake rotors? Cool idea. But not as good as the stuff we already have. And the Triumph dirt bike will be a lot like that. New ideas. Almost as good as the shit we already have. Who knows. Maybe they'll prove me wrong. If they ever get to release the damn thing. Hell it might fizzle out before then. They've hyped it up for long enough it will be a revolutionary masterpiece or a horrible disappointment.
