We were beaten by a better side on the night. Considering the problems off the field and possibly the worst long term injury list in the division we are doing far better than I ever imagined. Felt we got the subs wrong. I know we have to give Marshall some game time but we really needed Weiman on as the youngster looked a bit lost albeit he did play a few decent passes. The officials were poor, I think VAR would have awarded a penalty but the corners fiasco beggars belief. Finally, I do not see the point in putting head high crosses with such a lack of height up front. It needs to be on the floor as we did for the second goal against Cardiff.
100% agree mate. I would love to know why weimann wasn’t involved. Marshall seems a good lad but I honestly don’t think he’s any better than the likes of Cleary or Malcom. As you say good looking crosses on the eye but no one ever to get on the end of them

Southampton are a great team. Tonight we just not up to it, such a shame as we are a good team when the better players are on the pitch. On a positive note, very happy that we have new owners 😅 onwards and upwards Will 👍😁
