Should definitely support some smaller USL teams if you're near any. NPSL is also a good small league to follow. Teams like Tulsa Athletic and Appalachian FC have been a couple exciting teams to watch to come from there.

I suggest after some rest that perhaps another angle to this is perhaps every league in scottish football. It would be a nice comparison with the food, culture, atmosphere. And since you live in the North, Scotland is not too far from you.

Wow, I'm from Brazil and it's amazing the league system in England, here we only have 4 National Divisions and this is a shame, since we live in a huge country and a large part of the population don't have a local club to support in a National Division.
