    Great video.! No BS, just straight description and explanation of what you have on it, at what cost and pros and cons. Enjoyed it so much 14 mins flew by so fast. Great job.

    I bought the SBL first, then bought a Guide Gun as well to trick it out but it's such a stunning rifle I can't bring myself to do it. I am however going to replace both stocks with adjustable Form stocks if and when they become available again. I love my 45-70's!

      I have a henry with similar upgrades but like you i also have a Marlin Trapper and I just can't do this my Trapper , The ranger Point Precision hand guard I bought two years ago is new and still in the box

    Man great looking trapper. I have the same one but my Midwest handguard I did not go with the full rail because I found mine at just over 1 bill so couldn't pass it up. Heard you talking about the trigger flop which is common in every marlin. Do yourself a favor and get the ranger point precision trigger, it takes all flop out and reduces trigger weight drastically and I can't say enough good about it. I haven't ordered yet but I'm dying to get the chisel stock, yours looks sinister the whole rifle. I have a vortex viper PST gen 2 1x6x24 and just bought a silencerco hybrid 46m and waiting for that and running a silencerco asr muzzle brake. How do you like that eotech? I love my scope but like the small footprint of the holographic optics. New subscriber here 🤙

      Also try your J-mac customs handstop turned around the other way, that's how I'm running mine and that's how it is staying 🤷‍♂️. Our setup is really similar as I'm also running the hoptic 2rd quiver but your video is now making me order that stock 😍

    • @EchoDelta2A
      @EchoDelta2A  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sounds like a badass setup you got there as well! I've been back and forth between my Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6 and the Eotech. I ended up putting an Eotech and a 4x Magnifier as my preferred setup. I still swap to an LPVO when needed for hunting with a thermal clip on, otherwise, the Eotech and magnifier looks and functions perfectly on here. Thanks for the sub!

    Where did you get the pieces you attached to the handguard? Do they add weight or just decorative?

    • @EchoDelta2A
      @EchoDelta2A  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a Midwest Industries rail. Doesn't add much weight but definitely adds a lot of usable attachment space

  • @FourT6and22
    @FourT6and22 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does the way the Midwest handguard attaches to the rifle feel sturdy enough to you? It screws to the barrel in one place right? And then the full-length rail attaches to the top of the action and then to the handguard toward the muzzle?

    • @EchoDelta2A
      @EchoDelta2A  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Correct and it feels extremely solid. Never had any problems regardless of all the recoil. Just be sure to use a little blue loctite on all of the screws when you first install, and you should be all good.

    Do the Midwest rear sights and the factory front sight work together well?

    • @EchoDelta2A
      @EchoDelta2A  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not on the Trapper model of the 1895. The front sight doesn't fit without shaving some material off the forend. On the SBL, however, they'd work perfectly.

    • @dennissunga4084
      @dennissunga4084 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you still use the factory front sight along with the rear Midwest sight?

    • @EchoDelta2A
      @EchoDelta2A  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can still have it mounted, but the front sight sits lower than the rear, which makes it unusable.

    FYI for 2000$ you can buy a 45-70 a.r. now idk about the ammo because it's a 45-70 auto so brass is hard to get and easy to dump. But if u spend the extra in brass. Might be worth it. 😂

    • @EchoDelta2A
      @EchoDelta2A  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed. My suggestion: Just pick up any 45-70 you can get your hands on, and apply new shit to it over time. Cost of all guns are just going north anyway. Might as well get the foundation at it's cheapest and work on the details later.

    A lever gun can be a verry usefull self defence tool.
    I am from Germany and the government tries to ban autoloaders like the AR15 and i think even handguns from civilians.

    • @EchoDelta2A
      @EchoDelta2A  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I mean I'd rather have a lever gun than no gun for self defense, for sure. If I had a choice between an auto loader or a lever action, I'd take the auto loader, but I agree it can be very effective with enough practice and experience.

      So your gov readying Germans for the next globalist era of population control, digital currency, disease, dictatorial rule, social media scores, and arms bans so the next Arian 5th Reich will caught you all unprepared and disarmed ready to be hearded by their new woke socialist leaders like livestock to the slaughterhouse.
