Great video! Quick question, are the fuel rails between the V4 and V5 different? As in will a V5 fuel rail bolt on to a V4 manifold? I know the injectors are different but I’m only asking about the fuel rail. Thanks!
Luke, I absolutely love all your videos and look forward to seeing them when I'm able to...Thanks for your hard work and documentation! It truly is very informative! Quick question (if you end up seeing this).... I'm still a little green in my Subaru knowledge and have a question about injectors. I'm building a phase 1 ej25 na/t project with tunable Engine Management that has side-feed injectors. Due to the added turbo and where i'm seeking power (upper rpm), I'll naturally have to upgrade my injector size. Are pretty much all side-feeds interchangeable? Just curious as I'll need to rid myself of the red-top 280cc for some bigger ones but wasn't sure if they all interchange between phases. Thanks!
I having a hard time to find o rings for my injectors I had cleaned .the motor was in my sandrail.so auto parts narrowed it down to a 92-99 legacy but no one has the rings I need to replace old.it has 1 round ring big one at top and a thin plastic one with a square 1 that go together at bottom.any idea where I can find?
I’m had the same issue with older engines. My best advice is to give the guys at Flatirons Tuning in Boulder, CO, USA a call. They’re my go-to for hard to find parts. Good luck 👍
i have a question regarding 04 sti side feed injectors. I bought new orings and it feels like they all seal fine inside the fuel rails. Now, all of my injectors are missing the center caps ontop that cover the pin sticking upwards. As i prime my fuel system i can hear a very loud hissing noise and i end up filling all 4 of my cylinders with fuel. By keeping the spark plugs removed i turn the motor over by hand to push the fuel back out. By not having those center caps ontop...is that causing my injectors to open and force fuel into my intake and cylinders? Ive tried 2 sets of injectors and both sets are missing the center caps ontop. Both sets also have all new orings. I cant seem to figure out my issue.
+submitcyber Hey man. The EJ20G manifold is already installed, but this is a good idea and I will do a video on painting the next one for sure. I think everyone hates having a manifold with flaking paint, it totally affect the look of the whole engine bay.
Not much can be done due to such a small displacement, anything that adds low end air flow will make more torque. Supercharger bolted on would be a big one!!
Your details helped out a lot! Thanks

Your measurements are all wrong - you're looking at the 'Inch' scale and reading it as milimeters.
+Danilo Godec Dude. You are correct. I'll have to make a note in the video. The order is still right. Thanks man.
@@SubaruONLY also youre missing the thickness of the orings, ID-OD-W
Thank you! Totally mis-read it 100%. Need to add some kind of disclaimer or something...

Not sure on this one but sounds like you need those extra center caps. Also, make sure the injectors are the right size. Good luck. 👍
Is this the phase 2 02-07 550cc fuel injectors to work with the phase 1 fuel rail?
Awesome What kit is this? Where did you get these rings
Hey man. What’s up. Those just came in the JDM engine I bought. As for rebuke kits and new o rings, I’d try the AU or EU aftermarket companies.
awesome tutorial
Part# for the thicker o-ring / seal that fits between the rail and manifold?

I'm not sure if it's still possible but could you do a video of how to paint the manifold

Yeah I assumed it was already installed. Maybe paint the manifold of the legacy?
Do you know the part numbers for the injectors? Having a very hard time finding them
I’m sorry but I don’t. Think they are 380cc or 440cc ones. I’ll do some digging.
16611AA370, the 440cc injector with yellow top
Any advise to improve subaru impreza 2.0 N/A torque.

Bro this set up is so prone to leaks.
What drugs are you on
