Can the camera record to SD card and to NVR at the same time?My point is if someone come to my house to steal my valuables and see my cameras then he also take out the NVR so there will be no evidence. But if it is also recorded on SD then we have evidence.Thank you.
I was disapointed to learn that the 833a has the same image Sensor as the older 822 had. Yes they added spotlight and two bigger infrared lights. But the image Sensor still gives this same constant screen Flickering in IR Mode. 🙄 it gets worse when you change the brightness in the app (display settings-- light&shadow-- black & white -- and then try to adjust brightness). Any Flickering?
I havent experienced any flickering; possibly due to the increased IR light output. Also, in its current location, there is a lot of bounce light from ceiling/walls to assist in a better picture saturation. I'll update this comment if I experience any flickering.
Hi, any chance of showing quality for night colour please? im curious to see this before buying. Also, does colour night vision need the built-in light to work? Can you turn off the built-in light if theres enough outdoor lighting, i.e. street lights?
The built-in light needs to be ON in order to have the color night vision. Infrared light is invisible, therefore colored night vision would not work. Yes, you are correct in that if there is enough light, the LED lights will not come on. You also have the option of triggering the light on when there is motion or leaving it off completely.
i have 820 but the only issue is the fov because its on a small balcony , i found your video and the only option now is 833a for a bit more vertical view (installed on the ceiling of the balcony and i need half a meter more verticaly ). Are you satisfied from the night vision of 833a because almost every reolink 8xx series has good day image. Thank you.
The 833a works great in this location, especially the night vision. This location is fully illuminated by the IR, and there is plenty of light throw. The spot light fills nicely as well, and when the camera switches to the color night vision, it's not overly blown out.
So far, I have been very impressed with it. The customization is awesome from the NVR (probably the client app as well). Have you checked out the DUO2? Wow!

Yes, the Reolink cameras can record to both the device and the NVR simultaneously.

Gutes Video, aber Bruder die Häuser in den usa sind crazy
Danke für den Kommentar! Ich stimme voll und ganz zu, einige der Häuser sind ziemlich beeindruckend.

i can't remove the mounting plate, how to do that?
The mounting plate will twist off. Simply grab the metal outer ring only, and twist to unlock.
