I do miss Alberta. Raised my family there from 1999 to 2017. Retired and bought lake front property in Ontario. Add fishing boat and Triumph Bonneville. Retirement is great. Tried to acquire a W but they were very hard to find within a 200 Kms radius. I road many 100,000 Kms from my home in Calgary.
Love your bike. Awesome colour. Enjoy and ride safe.

Oh nice. I used to live in Ontario. The north is beautiful, between Sault Ste Marie and Thunder Bay. It was a challenge to get a W800. I had a poor experience at Argyll Motorsports in Edmonton. But another dealership call Conlon was very enthusiastic and they shipped one to me from BC! I was so pleased because I love the black and red colours for the 2024 model.

@ yes not a fan of Argyle. I think they were bought out by Barnes. Who owns Blackfoot in Calgary and Richmond ? In Vancouver. Costco of dealerships. I bought a ton of bike off Blackfoot when they were just Blackfoot. We love Ontario. My wife is originally from here in the Rideau Lakes district. Roads are amazing for an old guy like me now on a Bonne. I’d say your W is more retro and period correct anyways. It’s the real deal if someone wants British charm and character. Excellent bike. And bulletproof. Glad to follow your journey. Ride safe and enjoy. FYI my son and daughter live and work in Edmonton raising our grandchildren. Great place to be.

Speak of the Devil, Argyll just phoned asking if I want to buy a W800 next year! While I appreciate the phone call, they missed the boat on this eager customer.

@ I think the dealerships are getting desperate lol. My best friend and I deal with Ottawa Goodtimes and or GP Powersports in Whitby. I still see no W on order and I suspect one would have to preorder to get one. They’re loss. When you get too big you forget that the customer holds the power. It’s cold here now and the bike has been put away. Going to be a long wait til spring Uhhgg.

This is beautiful Alberta, Canada! Home of the big prairie skies.
