Ferrari FXX Evoluzione at Monza Racetrack - Screaming V12 Engine, Backfires & Glowing Brakes!

- Here I am, at least once a year I have to show you a video about the Ferrari FXX Evoluzione, this time filmed in action on the Monza circuit, strong of its screaming v12 engines, fantastic backfires and amazing glowing brakes. We are at the 2018 Finali Mondiali Ferrari. More than 10 years have passed since their debut and the sound, in my opinion, is still the best one of all Ferrari XX hypercars. I had the opportunity to see again in action some Evoluzione model that develops about 860hp. The FXX was produced from 2005 to 2006 in 30 units taking as a basis the Enzo raising performance in every aspect. Its V12 is passed to the displacement of 6.262cc with a power of 800 bhp moving on to the last stage, as mentioned, of 860 bhp for an empty mass of 1.155 kg. Performance, as you can imagine, is frightening with 2.8 sec. from 0 to 100 km/h and a top speed electronically limited to 345 km/h. Without speed, limiter could reach 390 km/h. The mechanical and aerodynamic is exquisite, six-speed F1 gearbox, traction control with 9 positions, full telemetry, diffuser and wing sections for maximum downforce. The FXX was the first car project destined to few lucky owners/testers, usable only on the track. Despite the price at the time of $1.8 million, all the 30 cars were sold immediately. The successful XX programs series continues today with great results. I have to thank my friend and TH-camr 19Bozzy92: / 19bozzy92 with whom I collaborated to realize this video. Enjoy! ;-)
Eccomi qui, almeno una volta l'anno devo proporvi un filmato sulle Ferrari FXX Evoluzione, questa volta filmate in azione sul circuito di Monza, forti del motore v12 che urla, delle fantastiche fiammette allo scarico e dei dischi dei freni incandescenti. Ci troviamo all'edizione 2018 del Finali Mondiali Ferrari nella sezione in pista a loro dedicata. Sono passati oltre 10 anni dal suo debutto e nonostante tutto come sound resta a mio avviso il migliore fra le vetture della serie XX costruite dal cavallino. Gli esemplari che vedete sono dotati del pacchetto evoluzione che incrementa la potenza a circa 860cv. La FXX è stata prodotta dal 2005 al 2006 in 30 esemplari prendendo come base la Enzo ma innalzando le performance sotto ogni aspetto. Il suo motore V12 è passato alla cilindrata di 6.262cc con una potenza di 800cv passando poi all'ultimo stadio, come detto, di 860cv per una massa a vuoto di 1.155 kg. Le prestazioni come potete immaginare sono spaventose con una 0-100 km/h in 2.8s ed una velocità autolimitata di 345 km/h. Si stima che la vettura priva di limitatore potrebbe raggiungere i 390 km/h. La parte meccanica ed aerodinamica è curatissima, cambio F1 a sei marce, traction control con 9 posizioni, telemetria completa, diffusore e profili alari per la massima deportanza. La FXX è stato il primo progetto di vettura destinata a pochi fortunati proprietari/collaudatori, utilizzabile solo in pista. Nonostante il prezzo all'epoca di 1.8 milioni di dollari, tutte e 30 le vetture furono subito vendute. La fortunata serie dei programmi XX continua tutt'oggi con splendidi risultati. I've witnessed these cars racing on track and the sound actually travels through your body. Impossible to describe the intensity of the sound. Loudest car I've ever experienced.
If we exclude the v12 formula one cars, this is one of the loudest engines you can meet on the track 😉👍

Over the years I have had the pleasure of seeing thousands of racing and track cars, and I assure you that the Ferrari FXX with its V12 with the open pipes exhaust is one of the loudest you can hear. Unfortunately, I have never seen the Mazda 787B; it's a dream that I've been chasing for a long time. I hope that one day, it will come true to understand how it sounds. I had the pleasure of filming the Mazda Rx7 of Mad Mike with four rotors, and so I can think that the sound is similar.

A few days ago I watched some shite that had hybrid high end race cars. Lots of electric engine sound. Then come here and what's this? What's that beautiful, beautiful sound I hear as these cars approach the turns? What's that glorious sound I hear on exit of turns??? Nothing beats that blippin downshifting or that screaming upshifting, and then full throttle in the straights.
These sensations you described are why I love cars with internal combustion engines 😍

He describes it as “a very very fast road car, but not quite at the levels of a GT3”. Considering he actually drives GT3 cars, I’ll take his word for it over yours.

Nice!! Gear changes slower than newer ferraris.
It's been 10 years between this and the last FXXK, in the field of electro-actuated gearboxes it's an enormous amount of time and it feels even by ear that the speed of change is slower. When it was presented the FXX had the gearbox derived from the races and was the fastest that could be desired 😉

You need to go to Ferrari Corse Clienti official website and search XX Programme calendar events. Yes, sure, you can participate as public. If you are not registered with a Ferrari Club or you are not a media/press you can't access at all the areas but you can see the cars running on the track 👍

Greatest moment in my life was renting a 488 in Maranello, driving through the hills of Maranello, driving the wheels off of that car and ending that ride at Pista de Fiorano back in 2017!! What a day to remember

@@Italiansupercarvideo Quick funny story, right before I rented the 488 I was at the Enzo Ferrari museum and did the F1 simulator, I raced at Monza for 40 minutes straight and ended up with the 3rd fastest time. The man running the simulator looked at me with this surised face and said "wow, that's a quick lap good job". That was all in the same day!
